Yep he got up well at the corner to head back across goal to set up an easy finish. Mali moved the ball around well in midfield but did not have much up front. The Mali players lost their composure half way thru the second period of extra time and their goalscorer got sent off arguing and pushing the ref and 2 others got yellows. Was a good game to watch.
Veljkovic played well. Very composed.
I haven't had chance to see any of this tournament.
Has he been playing in defence or midfield?

I know you prefer him there. Just happy to see him playing and playing well as usual. Wherever he ends up I just hope he gets his chance sooner rather than later, as his class is undoubted

Yes and it's a big deal. A lot of top players in this tournament. The second biggest FIFA tourney.
Of course Steffen's good! He's losing his hair already! Pretty much a sure sign of being a good American keeper!

That's impressive and very Unspurs like, to have defenders in the Team of the Tournament.
I hope those two make it. I believe they have the ability. Loved what they wrote about MV. Outclassed all comers. You can't beat that.
