Spurs fans at the Pompey game

On Radio 5 Live this morning Sol Scumbell was complaining about the verbal abuse that football players receive during games, and that it should be stamped out by the authorities. Could this have anything to do with the fact that he still has spurs chants ringing in his ears from last weekend ?????!!!!!

I wasn't at the game so am wondering if those that did make the journey can verify if the usual vitriol was being fired in his direction.

For me it is not only the fact that he went to the scum but as a few have already said it is the manner in which he done it. A few players have made the switch between the two clubs without receiving the sustained abuse that he has.
At the time of his switch he was banging on about his love for the club and how he was going to stay put. Then with any of the top clubs at his disposal he chose to move to them. mg: Is this guy as stupid as he sounds? :bang: I can't believe he is now saying that it is over the top!
