Can anybody who booed Adebayor explain why they booed him?

When he plays we are shit.

That's not opinion. It's fact. Look at his last 3 appearances.

Our season could go very quickly. Very quickly indeed if his ludicrous inclusion is continued.

And what about all of those goals and all of those wins in the second half of last season?

I go further than I want to/should to defend him because there if we're talking about irrational, it's the hatred for Ade. People don't hate Ade because they think he's useless, that's bollocks. He has an ok-decent goal scoring record at Spurs so what is it? People didn't hate Berbatov for looking casual/lazy because he was scoring so it must be something else. Arsenal connection, racism? I don't know, but there is clearly proof that the useless/lazy argument can be disproved.
Mate, 95% to 100% of your 372 posts are about Ade. You realize that, right?

Nice streak. What's his current record this season?

There is no doubting that his form can be erratic but you can't rewrite history and present it as fact. To say we are shit when he plays does not stand up to closer inspection. He made an extremely important contribution to the games we won in the second half of last season and he was extremely influential his maiden season with us by scoring 18 goals in 33 matches. Apart from the goals, when he is playing well he is handful for any defence and the problems he causes them opens up space and opportunities for other players. Generally, we he is on form we are far from shit.

This season thing haven't really got going for him but do I think his few performances have been so bad to warrant all of the criticism and abuse that has been aimed at him? Absolutely not. Many of other players have been just as bad and given us much less to cheer about over the last 2 or 3 seasons than Adebayor.

A motivated Adebayor is one of the best strikers in the PL, there is not really any denying that. Problem is, it's verrrrrrrrry difficult to motivate him.

Interesting points you make there, people made the very same criticisms of Berbs and Freddy before him, Freddy had a very laconic style and large stride which made him look as if he was working far less harder than he actually was, Berbs (and this is my own theory for which I'll probably getted laughed at) had some weird inbuilt sense where he could work out to the nth degree the likelihood he'd win the ball or not and to calculate whether it was worth expending energy or saving it.

I'll buy it that Ade's workrate is far better than it's perceived to be, I realise that his demeanour is laid back and that he may appear to be smiling when he's feeling rotten inside but I simply don't think he's a particularly good footballer, his first touch isn't acceptable and he's not clinical enough in front of goal, he doesn't live up to the hype that surrounds him and it's compounded by the fact that he shouldn't be on social media as much as he is when things aren't going well. There's a small group of footballers who are as well known for making gobshites of themselves on Twitter (Barton, Wilshere, Frimpong) and the like as they for kicking a pig's bladder round and he's one of them.

I still don't boo him though, just think he's a waste.

Good post, I'm not comparing Ade to Berba in terms of skill level or whatever but merely looking as to why Ade is hated? We're talking about a bloke who is booed by his own team's fans like he is John Terry or Sol Campbell. Is it because he's lazy? Well Berbatov was never booed so it must be down to something else. I can't fathom it myself and obviously closet racists wouldn't openly admit it.

Edit: And what I like is that even though you think he's a waste you're able to look at things objectively. You realise that his work rate may not be the best but is also nowhere near as bad as made out. Fair play, we'll agree to disagree on other points but I have much more respect for someone like you than these absolute morons who hate Ade because their cousin's friend had a dog who knew someone that was an Arsenal fan who thinks Ade only plays for a contract.

Ade only plays when motivated and it takes extreme measures to motivate him....

Also. 373 posts for you on SC. 373 posts about Ade. So you obviously either have some kind of affiliation with him or you have an extreme obsession with him. Either way, you're opinion is very bias.

This is a guy that thinks that the only contribution black people have made to society is the George Foreman Grill so I'm not really surprised he agrees with the booers.
That's a hit near the mark isn't it? How did my dislike for Adebayor turn into a race issue?
So I'm a racist for agreeing with the people who boo him, I love your logic....

Thanks for repeating yourself, I saw your first post. Clearly not all of my posts have been about him and I have no affiliation with him, I just struggle to understand why the bloke is hated.

I get the whole on his day argument I just don't agree with it. Any professional player 'on his day' is unplayable or should be. But with this idiot it's all the other baggage as well. Never doing a pre season. Falling out with managers, disrupting the youth...I could go on. But I'm just repeating myself.

He is a bad influence around the club and Im also not the type of fan who would tolerate hitler if he banged in 20 goals a season. Youd be surprised on here the amount that would.

I have only ever seen one post from you that didn't include hating on Soldado, hating on our fans, licking dear Ade's arse. Or a combination of all three.

I suspect you are not really a Spurs fan.

Why do you refuse to back up what you say with facts? You have convinced yourself that everything you read in the papers and ITK is true. Why aren't you calling for the manager's head if it pains you so much that he plays Ade?

Not really, that is what you think and I posted evidence that you did say it.
Agreeing with people who boo him isn't necessary racist, neither is disliking him but the fact that someone with your type of views does both of those things, means that there is considerably doubt that his race has nothing to do with it.

This is actually a pretty good point. Surely, Poch must realize that we played much, much better when Ade was not included in the team.
