We'll finish strong just not enough for top 4 imo.

I think we're too reliant on Kane and if he is stifled we could struggle. But I think we are playing weak enough opposition for our 6/10 players to make an impact.

We're gonna whack together 20 points and end up at 70 total. Not too shabby.

Plus, we're going to annihilate Villa and SCBC.

Think that's likely scenario but if we can turn over soton and city it would change things.

We have it in us to do so.

I think all of our remaining games are very winnable, and I think we'll finish strongly. It might not be enough to finish 4th, but we'll have decent run in.

Will be up and down. We'll get 6th.

This will be the case I suspect.

We're not good enough to put together a consistent run of results, and I'm sure we'll slip up somewhere even in the next three eminently winnable games.

But we're also good enough that if we really play well, we can beat anyone, so we'll probably pick up a result somewhere that we wouldn't expect to.

If we win 5 of our remaining games and pick up a couple of draws I'd be happy. Based on recent performances we'll need to improve to do that though.

March 21: Leicester City (H) W
April 5: Burnley (A) W
April 11: Aston Villa (H) W
April 19: Newcastle (A) W
April 25: Southampton (A) D
May 2: Manchester City (H) W
May 9: Stoke City (A) D
May 16 : Hull City (H) W
May 24: Everton (A) W

Leicester: Last Sunday's debacle will have had a big effect on the players. Positive is the only one I see. Big win Saturday.

Burnley: They're fighting for their survival, they'll have to come at us at home, playing to our strengths. A win by a goal.

Aston Villa: the return of Timmy. Certain players will be out to show he was wrong about their mental strength and leaving them out of the team. They'll come at us, it's Sherwood, so again, we should have room to bitch slap them.

Newcastle: they've got little to play for, they're really not great, we should be to strong for them.

Saints: draw, they are good at home. They'll want to beat Poch, but I think we have enough about us to dig in and get a result.

Man City: nothing to play for for them at this stage, they've no been great against the better teams, especially when pressed into submission by the Arse and Liverpool. We play the same sort of intense game, we'll win.

Stoke: Hughes is a wanker, I don't like playing them, we'll play really well but they'll get a lucky equaliser

Hull: They'll be relegated by this time, so only a big win will be on the cards here

Everton: They'll rest all their best players before the Europa final on the Wednesday. Win for Spurs.

So you see, it's really going to be quite a good finish to the season.

We're going to win every game and get all of the possible 27 points available.

Mark my words. It's going to be epic... EPIC

Meh, sadly I couldn't care less!

I would take any league position now really as its all about the summer now and removing the rubbish and getting some more players in with the managers philosophy in mind.

Im sure this post is a copy pasted post from last season.....and the season before....and before that season as well....and......

Some sense finally.

I can't understand why so many people have the attitude the season is over.

I think we'll finish strongly and put ourselves back into contention. To have an attitude of just giving up now would be a shocking example to set to the players when we're trying to create a winning mentality.

The point is we give everything to try. We'll probably miss out but all this defeatist stuff is never going to help us improve our mentality as a Club.

Win the next 4 and anything can happen.
Mopo needs to get the team right, if he picks last Sunday's team I fear it will be all over before it gets started.
Fcuk rotation, pick what he thinks is the best 11 and go for it.
Over to you MP.

Particularly with the games others have to play as well. With Southampton we have the easiest run in.

A shocking example of weak mentality was turning on to watch My beloved team play sunday, only to find that the under 10s boys team turned up.
The only excuse i can find for such a meek surrender although most kids teams play 40 mins a half yet that lot were finished in 30 mins.

It has been a problem for a number of seasons now. We often run out of steam at this stage of the season. So now we will find out how well the fitness regime will factor at the business end of the season.

So how is everyone feeling about the finish to the season? Do you think we can finish strong?

I'm rather confident myself. No more cup games to think about and no injuries at this time (which I can't recall happening in the past)

I'm not going to go into where we will finish but more on how well we can do ourselves. Afterall the only thing we can really do now is focus on our own results and hope others slip up.

I think we have a good set of fixtues left. The visit to St Mary's & home to City are the standout games but visits to St James' Park & Goodison have not been good grounds for us in the past.

A lot of those games could go either way, hence why I've hedge my bets with several draws. Don't punish me it's just my opinion...

I think it will be inconsistent just like the rest of season. Due to the fact this was going to be a transitional season we have got to a cup final and challenged at the right end of the table. I am pretty happy with that but then again I am easily pleased.

As crazy as it sounds I think we underestimated Man Utd. I certainly don't think we expected them to be right in our faces. I think we'll rally together now and get back to winning ways.

We don't draw many though. Only 5 draws so far this season. I think we'll win 6, lose 2 and draw 1
