This would be the same Fabio Capello who announced that 'Beautiful football is dead', right?

People want to be entertained and that means nice football and most importantly goals. We are numero uno in the league when it comes to goals scored per match, admittedly alot of them are against us!!!, but we are the entertainers. Praise is very worthy.

Capello acknowledging the Mighty Spurs. Good Ol Boy.

Slightly off topic, but did anyone see on Socceram when Capello was at a game and had a good look at the lady walking past him. Lol was funny.

In the entire artical Cappello is mostly talking about italian champion league failers (apart from Roma). And how Cassano has been playing well. It also goes on about how he belives Donadoni has done well as Italy mannager (his appointment caused a great deal of contrevercy and many Italians are not impressed to say the least). Cappello's aproach seems very reserved, and dosnt want to get too involved in ansering the questions to cause contraversy (one foot wrong and the Italian press are all over him). He gives a lot of praise to Inter, and claimes Liverpool are dangerus from open play. He seemed a lot more consered to be mannaging England then get involved with Italian football, and thats about it.....well theirs other stuff. I dont know if the above was clear in the translation

I don't think some people appreciate just how big a compliment that was. Coupled with what the PSV manager said. We now rarely get out possessed by teams - even the top4 - and play an attacking 442. We are the third biggest scorers behind the top 2.

It is indeed a big complement, but I always knew Cappello has a soft spot for spurs. I mean if you see the game he attends spurs are the club he watches most!!

Because we ahve plenty of quality English players, one of the things I like most about us [even though I am from Ireland], I do think EPL clubs should do their best to get the best English players, it's the English coaching [and Irish] I have doubts over sometimes.

Oh, it's certainly a big compliment. It's just that from what he's said, and the way Real played for much of last season, it's a little bit surprising that he still appreciates the type of football we strive to play.

I hate this point of view and always have. I couldn't give a monkeys where our players come from. I want the best possible not the most English possible (I'm a jock and that goes for the most scottish possible too).

A nice compliment but i'd rather he didn't pick spurs players for pointless internationals. Thanks but no thanks. Club over country any day
