Yesterday results really went for us.

Arsenal lost and Villa drew as did Liverpool and Man City.

A win today will put five points between us and Liverpool, three ahead of Villa and four ahead of City, although they have a game in hand and level with Arsenal, who also have a game in hand.

We can not afford to drop points on days like these, opportunities to put some space between others don't come around that around and if we have real top four aspirations we must win today.

Aree completly. Especially the fact that we face Villa away next week and I don't think we would get more than a draw in that one to be honest.

Therefore, I would say we need this one very badly and if we could get a few goals as well it would help of course !

If we get 7 points from our next 3 games - Wigan, Villa and Everton that will be a great return. Today's game is one we really should win.

Wigan have had some odd results this season though. They've win at Villa and beaten Chelsea and yet suffered some thrashings. Lets hope they get a hiding today!!

Without sounding to negative but this is Tottenham, the renowned legends. It wouldn't surprise me if we drew or lost this one.

We always say this bu this really is a big game for us. 3 points (although expected) would show we will not give up on 4th too easily

But that does sound negative, and that is your point, right?

This season we've played very well in some games, and we have won well. In games against the top 3 teams in the country we've been soundly beaten. However, we have had plenty of other games in which we've played average or even poor football and yet we've come away with the points. We are not giving up points against the 'lower' teams nearly as cheaply as in some past seasons.

Of course we could draw or lose this, but with the lineup we are putting out, and with our results so far this season, we have every reason to be more positive than to consider our lads "legends".

I said before the game, ideally I'd like us to score 4 more than Wigan today, to take us into double figures + GD.

I never expected 9!!

That is what you call capitalisation ;-)

So glad the player read it, obviously worked ...lets hope were not going to bottle it. We now need to go on an extended run of good results.
