They made CL in one of the toughest leagues in the world. I don't watch German club football but their national team is shit hot so it must be a great league
Yeah, that's why there's a couple of Icelandic teams in the group stage and the Portuguese and French sides are odds-on favourites.

Late to the party. I really wanted big teams in the draw. So not my favourite group, and people are taking way CSKA way to easy. These matches are going to be hard regardless, might as well face great teams. But the chances for advancement are up for grabs to a certain degree, I suppose.

Sports Mail:

VERDICT: "It is a favourable draw for Tottenham. They have got tricky ties rather than difficult ones and they have no reason not to fancy their chances against each team. They should qualify for the knock-out stages without much of an issue"

If we are anywhere near the post Christmas team of last season we will get out of that group. Tricky games no doubt but are there any not tricky games in the CL?
This is what we have all wanted and you can be sure that the players will be right up for it!

On paper it's a much kinder draw than we could have got, especially the way the draw was going at the halfway point.

I'd hope we qualify from the group, we are well capable of it, but a bit apprehensive about the 'easy group' comments I have seen from a lot of fans in the last hour. A trip to Moscow will always be tricky (although seems we have avoided going there in the middle of winter, thank fuck for that), Leverkusen are the sort of team who on the last couple of seasons we might very well struggle against - they will press us and make things uncomfortable for us in moving the ball upfield. We also need to improve on our away form - different competition yes, but in the Europa the last few years we've tended to switch off and throw away points.

Optimistic, but let's not get too far ahead...

That's fucked me! Only day I couldn't do was the 14th of September.

Really pissed off.

One thing I do spot is CSKA in the last fixture. With some luck, the result in that match won't matter, we should focus on advancement after 5 fixtures. And, if that fixture does matter, it's at home.
