Everyone knew City's defense was shaky. But if people think City wont be up for it now on Sunday, they are sorely mistaken. Pep will have them raring to go and will get them into shape after this one.

I think we need to press high up the pitch on Sunday. We havent really done that too much thus far.

I've been saying we were a bad matchup for them since before the season started. This is not the first time I've seen you express similar. Getting all the 'optimistic' ratings was getting lonely . I hope we leave Janssen out and use Lamela as a false 9 to give those CBs hell. Kolorov already doesn't like him from all the ankle stamps Lamela gives him .

This game is showing that sentiment to be a reasonable one. I thought we would do it before DeBruyne got hurt and now I fully expect 3 points on sunday.

I would think if there is nothing in the rules abut that, then the club would put a clause into the loan stating the player cannot feature against them. Weird City didnt do that just in case this scenario came up.

We pick and choose when we press, we don't press in every game which is why you have seen a drop off in certain matches much like it was last season.
