Salah is just having the season of his life. I mean every other season he's not done this. We even scouted him when he played for Basel. He's just in some God form at the moment, but next season I bet he will be a completely different player. Still fucked off we didn't buy him though when we had the chance.

We could learn a thing or 2 off Liverpool about turning up in big matches. They seem to rise to the occasion and thrive the bigger the game

Reminds me of when they had Suarez, just one of the very top attacking talents in the world.
Able to create and finish, with incredible skill

Hopefully he goes the way of Suarez asap too !

I'm very interested to see how this Roma team play at home, because they don't look to offer anything offensively. Liverpool able to go forward without very little to worry about at the back.

This could easily be 4 or even 5-0 for the return leg though. After that half it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Roma are lucky they’re not 4 down by half time. Unless something changes they’ll be at least 4 down by full time.

I'm 33 and I can't remember a player hitting the ground running like Salah has in my lifetime. It's insane how easy he's found this year, especially coming from Italy. I've said it before, but he's like a Marvel character. Frustrating.

They still tend to shit the bed away to a crap team from time to time. Not saying we don't but it seems to happen more regularly to them.

Mido hit the ground harder for us... Problem was he struggled to get back up

I don't think I've ever seen a player so transformed as Salah at Liverpool. What he's doing is absolutely phenomenal and pretty much without parallel in English football history.

Hard to not appreciate the talent Salah is showing but i loathe the fact he plays for the scousers, people hoping it is a one season wonder are kidding themselves for all the purple patches iv seen none have consistently produced the pure skill that Salah shows and the raw numbers he has put up is remarkable...i am jealous how the Scousers have got the Balon D’or winner (i reckon he will win it) for Sissoko money.

So have the fans, really trying to make it a hostile environment. Whistling whenever Roma are on the ball and then going crazy as soon as they win it back. I hope we make NWHL intimidating but I fear I’m being far too optimistic there.

Bugger. It's probably only Madrid and Ronaldo that can stop them now.

Hopefully Madrid can get past Bayern over two legs. Just hoping Liverpool are peaking a little bit too early.

Bit annoying that Liverpool are going to get to the final of the CL without playing any of the mega european clubs. Even in Man City they drew the only English CL side they seem to easily beat.

They are going to win the whole thing.
