Henry and Iniesta both trained today, so much for the shit coming from Sky sports,Setanta, the current bun etc that they werent going to be fit.

The current bun(sun) seem to think Berbatov and Tevez both left out and rooney playing as a lw in a 4-4--1-1. Guess they borrowed Chelseas's bus. As Guardiola was saying earlier(even in english,)attack, attack, attack, but careful when attacking he knows they can be deadly on the break.

We are going to make history

I got my flight booked, CL final ticket sorted and bags packed. Rome here I come!

The game os 50 50 for me. For all Barca's attacking talent they cannot defend nowhere near as good as the English teams. Add to that 3/4's of the Barca back 4 are missing (Alves, Marquez & Abidal) and I'm leaning towards Utd. Utd attack with more purpose and intent than Chelsea, if they get even half the chances that Chelsea had I'm sure Utd will put the chances away. The question is can Utd keep them out?

and Utd are putting out Utd B tomorrow..... It's a 50 50 game. This current Utd first team rises to every challenge that has been set of it the last year or 2. Right them off at your peril.....

Cant wait to go, weather is 30 degrees out there at the min. Lets hope the game lives up to it's billing!

If that was Barca's B team then it really doesnt look great for the future with regard to players coming through. NONE of them look up to it, the only one who looks half decent was the defender who got the red card.

Bojan is appalling, like, really, really bad, certainly much worse than Javier Portillo when he broke into the Madrid team and look where he is now! Pedro looks average but doesnt know when to pass is, Xavi Torres can knock it around when in space but his touch really lets him down in tight areas and Victor Sanchez really hasnt set the world alight when he's played this year. Jeffren looked brightish, certainly has a bit of pace on him and a found a couple of decent through balls so he'll be one to look out for maybe, but if he was that good he would have started the game.

Based on the past two weeks, id be extremely suprised if any of the cantera who have played will be able to make the step up apart from Muniesa, who looked assured until his and the referees moment of madness.

Very harsh on Bojan tbh. He was our best player against Mallorca last week, and the only forward we had last night who looked remotely interested. It's very hard playing in a team that is moving the ball about that slowly. If the team had played witrh any urgency and failed thats fair enough, but they didn't. It was a slow performance from a team that just wanted the 90 minutes over so they could celebrate.

I won't really judge them any of them on that performance because having watched Barça B alot I know most of those players are capable of better, I also know that most of those players are the Rodri's, Verdu's, Valiente's and Cristian's of this generation. Those we just bring in when we are short but we don't really consider our brightest prospects.

Thiago was good last week but picked up a knock in training. Assulin hasn't got Spanish citizenship yet so can't play, though he's had bad injuries this season. Muniesa isn't even in the B team yet showed good awareness, however his inexperience showed when he flung himself into that challenge, when it was obvious the Osasuna player was looking for it.

Bojan had our best effort in the second half when he clipped the top of the crossbar but apart from then as with all our forwards he was starved of service and support from the midfield. As I said, extremely harsh judging him on a performance with a team that hasn't played together before, that honestly didn't give a damn about that game and gave the kid practically zero service and support. Even Messi would of struggled in that scenario. Theres only so much holding up of play you can do before you get challenged or have to pass it backwards.

Some cules are so quick to turn on their own players, its sad. Especially when they single out an 18 year old who hasn't played as often as he perhaps should of, and his own lack of performance was more to do with his teammates lethargy towards the game than anything he did.

The thing is, he's probably appeared 50 times for the club but he just never looks comfortable; his touch is normally pretty poor and to play in the Barca team, it obviously has to be impeccable. He also never looks totally assured when he's dribbling with it and always seems like he's stumbling or about to fall over!

For me, the only chance he's got is if he is made the poacher in the central, number 9 position. Out on the wing, he really doesnt offer the team much and when you look at his attributes, its clear why; he isnt thats fast, he hasnt got a catalogue of tricks and his touch is normally poor. For me, he just doesnt seem to be much of a threat at all and this year is looking no better than Giovani did last season. Judging by his tears when he came off against Mallorca in the Cup, id question what his tempermant is like too-i just wonder if the pressure of playing for the first team is too much for him at the moment.

Id be pleased to be proved wrong on this, but personally id be suprised if he becomes a key player in the side.

I wouldn't agree, last season he looked fine on the ball. This season he looks like he lacks confidence, though he still did very well against Mallorca last week, you can't doubt the kids technical ability when you see the cross he put in for the goal. The club sees him as a wing forward not a no.9 it seems and I personally dont think his lack of tricks would effect him. I also think he's faster than we give him credit for...

He needs to go out on loan I think to a side like a Depor or an Almeria...someone who is comfortably mid-table where he's good enough to start every game and get a few goals under his belt. At that age alot of a players ability is down to confidence tbh.

Cules seem to be in danger of setting a precident of expecting every youth player who comes through to be as good as Iniesta and Messi. We've been spoilt in the past 15 or so years and I think players like Giovani and Bojan need nurturing and relief from the expectations placed upon them. Giovani ran off looking for immediate first team football in a team where he thought he could be the 'main man', ended up in a physical league he couldn't handle and is currently struggling. Bojan wants to stick around and I think he's rightly put his trust in Pep's decisions. If Pep says go out on loan, he'll go. Pep was a youth team product himself so he knows the expectations.

I still believe we'll get a fantastic player out of Bojan eventually. He just needs to keep his head on the ground, listen to his coach and family, not believe the hype his agent will no doubt be stirring up around him (Giovani believed the hype and went against his families wishes) and keep working.

Alcohol ban in Rome for the final. What a joke, the problems that have happened in Rome in the past have come from Roma fans wanting to have a go against English fans, not because of alcohol.

It is a shame that Platini wants it to be a festival of football, but the authorities have forbidden people from having a few bevvies before the game.
