Lahm and Ramos' were awful penalties.

Still, Norwich are the only English team to beat Bayern in Munich. Chelsea don't have Jeremy Goss.

Was actually hoping for Madrid to win as I think they'd have a better chance of smashing the Chelsea flukesters. Bayern should do the same, but I'm less sure. They got three of their players suspended for the final also.

No Gustavo, Badstuber and who else?

Chelsea fans have it all, CL final and now even get the pick of hotels as they will be empty.

Bayern did deserve it though, just a pitty they'll be missing that CB and Gustavo - who I thought was excellent.

That being said they're more than good enough to beat Chelsea,....Gomez will have joy without Terry around.

It would be lovely if Chelsea won the cup then Roman walked away achieving what he wanted, and leaving Chelsea in a mess (albeit Euro champions).

Chelsea have a real chance now...
Especially iif Gomez finishes as he has in these 2 legs. Very balanced on the players missing: 4 for Chelsea, 3 for Bayern, pretty much in the same positions. Were Roma the last club to lose the final in their own stadium(1984 on pens to Liverpool)?

Alaba.

Drogba will have a field day against Van Buyten but I expect Bayern to win.

Oh yea, and I'm sure Badstuber plays left back when Alaba's not there. Anyway no point me worrying about this now, not as if we have 4th all sewn up

If anything, I think this will make Mourinho want to have another go with Real next season.

I think this week may have shown up the quality of La Liga. Real and Barca may well be the two best sides in the world, but they don't face the same calibre of opposition as Bayern and Chelsea do week in, week out, and I think that is a key reason why both teams lost.

An excellent point. La Liga is one of the most overrated leagues on the planet. There are only two games actually worth watching: Barca vs Real and Real vs Barca. The remaining games are just beyond dull. The most imposrtant thing is that Barca is out. Real was my favourite for the title.
