Just a bit of fun but say we sell pav to rich russians crouch to milan and defoe gets injured on aug 30th. we get adebayor but need a quick fix support striker as we are told rossi et al will join us in jan.

no other PL club will sell us a striker - which Championship striker would you take a punt on as cover for 4 months.

whu players banned.

for me kevin phillips or george boyd would be interesting additions as cover.

as i say just a bit of fun to think outside the Pl for options:grin:

Craig Mackail-Mclachlan-Smith or whatever his name is, i liked him in League One last season and i fancy him to do well this season.

Luciano Becchio from Leeds; Scott McDonald from Boro; Connoly from Saints; Blackstock from Forest.

Becchio was amazing last season, so if I had to pick 1, I'd pick him.

Definately Ricky Lambert or Craig mackail-smith. Ricky is a great finisher who could do well in the prem like Andy carroll, just a shame he isn't younger. Craig will be in the prem next year. Good to see Shane long doing well also.

Lee Barnard? Presumably he is aquainted with Harry as they are near neighbours - and the way things are going for both of them he could continue to be so.
