Who are the candidates?

We all know the dwarf loves a bargain and relegated teams usually need to sell. So far QPR & Burnley are down with Hull, Newcastle, Sunderland, Leicester and Villa battling to avoid joining them.

QPR - There's Austin of course and possibly Fer but the one I like the look of is Matt Phillips who looks better than any of our current wide men.

Burnley - We've been linked with Ings but he's probably off to Pool. Not sure i'd be that keen anyway. Trippier is a useful player especially going forward but with Walker, Yedlin and Fredericks as well as Dier we have plenty of cover at RB. George Boyd is an absolute workaholic with a fair bit of skill and goal threat who might be a useful squad player.

Hull - Thin pickings here. Snodgrass and N'Doye are probably the pick of the bunch.

Sunderland - If Lloris left Pantilimon wouldn't be the worst replacement. Let's hope it doesn't come to that :nailbiting:.

Leicester - I like Mahrez and Vardy.

Villa - I wanted Delph in the winter window but that ship has sailed. Benteke has been begging Wenger to sign him and saying his heart is at Arsenal which puts me off big time . Grealish looks a prospect.

Is there anyone i've missed? Who (if anyone) would you go for?

None

Also how the hell can you have Leicester and Villa there and no Newcastle, they have only got one point in the last 9 games

I know you mentioned them initially but they should be on the list

Can anyone guess what all of these teams have in common?

Yup. They all contain at least 1 Spurs outcast.

Daniel Levy - impoverishing and relegating other people's teams since 2001

Consequently, I'm less interested in who we can buy from them and more interested in who we can flog to them.

You've mentioned a number of good players in your post, but I'm not sure any of them would improve enough us to warrant spending 'PL' money on them.

Trippier please.

So, then, hey, wow, bummer for the clubs, but, like, which of their people would you like to join us at Spurs? That would be groovy, yeah, amazing...

Or would they bring bad karma, you know, and, hey, that Villa badge, wooooo, it's like prancing and stuff, yeah, rarrrr...

Trippy enough now?

The other thing in common is our sell on fees are now worth next to nothing.#Levykarma

The only one I'd possibly have any interest in, and I'm not even that convinced to be honest, is Danny Ings - and he looks certain for Liverpool.

Yeah that was just an error. Can't think of any candidates from the Barcodes though except perhaps Cisse who we know Levy won't risk or yet another RB in Janmaat.

You find candidates from Sunderland, Hull, Leicester, QPR, Burnley and Villa but none from Newcastle

They really are fucked

Colback has impressed me

Haven't seen much of him this season, so he may have declined, but Coloccini could be a good addition to the defense that are crying out for a leader. Ayoze has potential too if the price is right and he can play as CF or either wing. Cisse could be decent back up to Kane. There is also Janmaat, Sissoko and Krul are all good players but play positions we don't currently need (or is Sissoko's case, is a type of CM we don't need).

Also, he isn't a 1st team player but Adam Armstrong looks a good player for his age too.

I'm just worried about all the bookings he'd get...;)
