Coming back from abroad for my first game at the new grounds (was at the final screening :)) and I’ll be there with my girlfriend for the Chelsea game. But what’s the best bet for me to pick up tickets?

Stubhub? I was thinking about getting the one Hotspur + membership for the both of us but I don’t want to spend £96 and then find out there’s really nothing on the ticket exchange.

Also, tickets on stub hub are going for like £125 each so trying to keep it under 250 if we go that route. Unfortunately Im not able to see tickets so I don’t know how worthwhile that is right now. I don’t see an option for general sale so that won’t happen.

thanks in advance guys.

I think you'll have to register as members and then hope to find tickets via the exchange. You might not get 2 together though. AFAIK the club don't allow StubHub nowadays so even if you get a ticket there there's presumably a chance that the tickets won't work if the club invalidate them or something. I'm not really sure.

If you go stub hub then the tickets very likely won't be legit. Unless it goes to general sale (which it hardly ever does) you have to get a membership.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong, old chap, but I think you should prepare yourself for disappointment. Sorry to be the one to have to put it like that, but tickets for Chelsea will be rare as hen's teeth.

Your best bet would probably be taking out a membership, but you'd still have to get really lucky / watch the website like a hawk to pick up any on ticket exchange.

Sorry, bud.

When I looked on Ticket Exchange there were a few in the £350 category, bit too rich for my blood but if a premium package is an option then there's that.

I’ve done stubhub in seasons prior, almost exclusively without any issue. Even sold a pair at the stadium. Is there a reason it wouldn’t work now? Like have to show your id?

Previously Stubhub was used as the official reseller of tickets. Since that partnership ended and the process was moved in house, the club very much frown upon tickets being sold that way, with reports that the club invalidate a lot of those listed.

Ah thanks man. I’ll look at alternatives for the moment. Can anyone check if there are there many tickets on the exchange? I can’t see them unless I spent £100 :notworthy:

There’s about 10 tickets in total available from what I’ve seen

Did you happen to see if there was a set in the £350 category or if it were just separate singles?

From what I saw they were separate singles but I didn’t look too hard to be honest.

I think if you sign up for an account, even without a membership, you should be able to see availability and possibly buy as part of the guest sale period.

Sounds like I just need to sign up and see it for myself. I’ve got one of those basic accounts. Unfortunately that wasn’t enough.

There were 2 seats together for £354 each earlier when I looked.

Does anyone reckon many will go onto exchange this week? Or is it looking like it'll be fully sold out?

There's currently 3 £273 tickets but not together. 2 are in the same block though (at opposite ends).

@paige09 lots of tickets just gone up if you're quick. Various "cheap" (£100) ones available together. These are members tickets, not exchange tickets but lots of exchange ones popping up too.
