I can't stand barca (because of 82) or utd either - but boy far preferable to either cfc or afc winning the thing

it was actually the final I predicted when the draw for the semis were made - but cfc deserved to go thru - which makes their defeat even sweeter

The best team in europe (apparently) had 1 shot on target the whole game (Iniesta's 93rd minute goal) and they're supposed to be an awesome attacking force?

3 good penalty shouts with 2 absolute stonewallers waved away.

Chelsea were robbed tonight, normally you would say Barca winning is a victory for football, but not on that showing, they were poor.

That said, I'm happy I have got the final I wanted. United vs Barca will probably be better than United vs Chelsea would've been

Disgraceful behavior from Chelsea at fulltime unfortunately. It isn't going to make any difference ranting and raving at the ref after the game however upset you are. They should have had 4 penalties, but that doesn't excuse that behavior.

Well it is pretty much the best final you could hope for, just hope Barca don't play as negatively in Rome.

It is but anyome than Abidal not going off? Fact is emotions are high and the results of failure and success are so important that the ref should meet that in his performance. He isn't affected by that woeful performance at all but it has drastically affected the seasons of a club and footballers. And I am not just on about Chelsea, Abidal and to some extent Alves miss the final for nothing really- though I won't shed a tear for the latter, still a shocking decision.

So what? Chelsea kicked us to kingdom come in the first leg. Shit happens. I don't fucking care. We've played fantastic all season, we had a bad game, rode our luck a HELL of alot...but tbh the way we played this season, for our attitude in never saying die all game even when we werent at our best we DESERVE this final...not on tonight but on the whole season.

I think Drogba's thinking the same as I am, The Chelsea players know they've been screwed by UEFA, it's plain to see the Ref did cheat. I can't believe that not 1 of those was a penalty, if not all.

It's funny but I do feel a bit bad co's football's just lost big time. We now have a UEFA that will cheat English clubs out of what they deserve.

exactly mhl - how anyone who remembers CFC's disgraceful antics against us over the years - especially the qtr final replay with terry and lampard can wish anything but bad luc on that lot is beyond me

yes barca were a disgrace in 82 but I've had 30 years too much of that lot especially since they won the lottery
