I'm really disappointed in how we acted. Disgraceful to end our title dreams like that. One of the few times i have not been proud of being a Spurs fan. One thing is to bottle it, but to act like that is completely unacceptable. Not only did it look like we tried to injure them on purpose in the end, but we also actd like children. Dembele eye poking/scratching, Lamela stepping on Fabregas hand and Walker throwing boogers after Costa.

Embarressing...

We have not yet secured second place and we might end up with more players out now because of that. If we bottle second place...
What point were you trying to make?

I suppose, next season the fairytale ends. They won it this year, and good luck to them, it was an incredible achievement. Next year, teams aren't going to want them to win it in quite the same way. Teams will now want to beat them, dare I say it, they may even try to beat them! They will have so many more games to play, which the likes of us, Arsenal, City etc always have. It'll be a different kettle of fish next year. Be interesting to see where they're at.

I really can't blame any of our players for what that game descended to. Before any of the handbag incidents Terry had got away with elbowing Jan in the face, and Costa had got away with headbutting him as well. They'd already been kicking us every time we had the ball and throwing themselves to the floor every time they had it. Clattenburg was party to all of it in his steadfast refusal to penalise anything Chelsea did. I'd be astonished if he's allowed to remain in charge of the cup final after that embarrassingly inept excuse for officiating.

Agree that the ref didn't seem to see any fouls if the player commiting them was in blue

Never thought i'd see the day where John Terry spoke some sense yet here we are

John Terry: "We weren't here to stop Tottenham. That hurt us tonight, passing the Premier League title to Leicester." #CFC #THFC #LCFC

Terry also pleaded with the @FA not to suspend players. "Let's not get silly and start banning people. It's a London derby." #CFC #THFC

Honestly, I'm not that bothered about not winning the title. I didn't think we had a legitimate chance after the skid week against West Ham and Arsenal.

However, I will be very fuckin bothered if we miss out on the opportunity to finish above Arsenal. Still so much to play for, so I hope our guys pick their heads up quickly.

Agreed - thought he spoke sensibly and with maturity.

We didn't lose the title tonight - we lost it with the multiple draws. Last week sort of summed it up.

But the future looks bright. COYS.

Prior to Kane's goal, the ref seemed to let quite a few Chelsea fouls go, including several that probably should have been yellow cards. Nearly every time we got into the final third, either one of our players was taken down by a late challenge or a run was blocked off. Early on, one of their players (Fabregas?) kicked out, but lucky for him he missed and it went unnoticed by the officials.

We did well to match Chelsea's physicality, and probably wouldn't have taken the lead otherwise. Our mistake was getting caught up in confrontations off the ball, instead of staying focused, and then making a handful of rash tackles late on.

I was gutted that once again we were undone in a big game by lax marking on a corner. We did the same against Leicester (Huth).

I'm extremely disappointed at the reaction of so many members on here tonight. Yes it would have been wonderful had we won but sadly we let Chelski back into the game and eventually we ended up with a draw. That our players over reacted, brain farts all around, disgusting play……IMHO the players were subject to all sorts of dark arts by Terry and his motley crew and I liked the way they reacted because it now shows we have the balls to stand up to this type of unbridled bullying. We're still in second place and I'm quite sure we'll end up there after the next two games. Chelski, for all their corrupt money, have underwhelmed enormously this season and tonight's match was for them, as one of their twitter followers said, right up there with their champions league win……. pretty typical of the type of fan that follows them these days.
Economically we still haven't a snowball's chance in hell to compete with these sad mercenaries but for 4/5ths of the game we were leading them based on superior endeavour and intelligence, playing with what is now typical passion and enthusiasm.
Yes we made mistakes, all teams do, but for heaven sake, man up the majority of you and stop sounding like whining arsenal followers who take a top 4 place as their God given right. We've done amazingly well under Mauricio's 20 month tenureship and not one of us prior to the start of the season expected we'd be in 2 nd place and automatic entry into the champions come this stage of the season.

Clattenburg could have avoided all the shenanigans if he would have clamped down early on. But he let all of their shit slide and continued to the entire game. So after a while, the boys decided that instead of shutting them up while playing football, we'll shut them up at their own game. They were expecting that we'd roll over after enough of their bullshit. Instead, we fought back.

Props to Leicester, but I could care less about them. We support Spurs.

Tonight embodies a lot of this season and a lot of emotions. In some ways, this match should be replayed before every match until we reach our goal of champions. At times we looked immature and out of sorts, and on the contrary, at times we looked composed and dominant. We are young, the future is bright, but we must always remember to play Poch's brand, and never meet a team at their level. If anything we can learn from tonight and some of the more recent matches, kill teams off and stay composed. We will only grow in confidence, and I wait for that time.

After watching all different sports (I'm American and expose myself to a lot of international sports too), it is clear to me that the teams that always win are lead by a great composed mind that always remains diligent, calm, and classy. We show signs of all of these qualities, and I'm excited to see how we improve.

love this team and proud of them and so grateful for the joy and pride they have given me.
Any critics outside of Spurs world are irrelevant....any critics inside Spurs world can take a running jump of a short cliff.

Agree 100% with this. Was thinking early on that the ref was letting too many fouls pass, quite a few on Kane. The ref got the game where he wanted it and had there been a sending off, he'd have been the one responsible.

Btw, would love to see someone make a video of the Hazard and Fabregas quotes and then our tackles on them.
