Tottenham goalscorer Emmanuel Adebayor: "I'm happy. I've had a tough season after an injury with the national team. We have two more games to go. We came here to win the game, but we took one point and we're pleased with that. We have to keep going. If we win our next two games we have a chance to get into the Champions League."

Tottenham captain Michael Dawson: "We showed our fighting spirit again. We gave them an early leg up and that was disappointing. But we showed the character and the ability we've got. Top four is out of our hands again. Hopefully someone does us a favour when they play Arsenal.
"That was a tough battle. We gave them a mountain to climb having given them a goal so early. Ade got us back in it with a great goal. We kept going and we nearly went on to nick it at the end, but we showed some spirit. The draw keep things going, and we go to Stoke at the weekend hoping to get back to winning ways."

I should have rephrased that question, I know they're sexy as fuck!

Why have we changed to navy shorts?

I'll ask again now it's all calmed down

What's with the navy shorts?

The Chavs wear white socks, so we needed to change ours to navy. I'm guessing we'd look pretty stupid with white shirts, white shorts, and navy socks, so I'd imagine that's why we went for navy shorts as well.

Want Arsenal and Chelsea to not win games in the run in?

I can sort this for us, no problem. Just got to deposit funds into my paddy power account and bet on the bastards to win!

Proud of the fighting spirit as I have been all season. We are not going away. Still in there.

Parker and Hudd's deficiencies were all to clear tonight against their midfield. Although is that not a surprise - our back up midfield v 100 million worth of talent. Ade has his best game of the season by far and possibly his best in a Spurs shirt. Sig made a big difference when he came on too. Should start v Stoke.

Not a great performance at all to be honest.

Saying that 2-2 at Chelsea is not a bad result for anyone, looks like it is going to be 5th and it is so clear we need some investment in the squad. It is as clear as the sky is blue that we have a lot of players who are just not good enough.
The sky is only blue for a few days each year. Mostly, it is grey. So, how clear is it now?

That could be an important point. We now only need Arsenal to drop 2 (get a draw) rather than drop 3 (lose) for us to be able to beat them.

I know it's not all about money, and that it sounds very defeatist, but our starting line-up cost about £60m to their £210m or so. I thought they outplayed us, but fair play to the lads for sticking in there and getting a draw.

i really think chelsea could miss out- games against an improving villa then Moyes' last game in charge of Everton- could end up with two draws

A big effort by the lads but in the end we just lack quality - alot of players making wrong decisions too often.

If we stick with this manager and provide him with better players we will remain competitive at the top end for a long while.

Put Kaboul in for Dawson, Sandro and Dembele in for Hudd and Parker......how much would that have helped our chances?

We wouldn't even need a new forward if Ade played like that more often.

Unfortunately Dembele seems to have glass hips, Kaboul seems to have caught Ledleys knee, and who know's how Sandro will be after his injury.

As others have said, if we had Adebayor play with that level of interest and intensity for even a quarter of the season, we'd probably not be in need of favours at this stage. Rather than lament that, I'll just be thankful that he put in that performance and got that goal.

Chelsea tired badly at the end and we were only susceptible to breakaways. Such a shame Bale and Hudd decided to hit atrocious free kicks at the death. Both of those required a straightforward in-swinger. Bale should have just gone with a left-to-right over the wall rather than the dipper, and Hudd not getting an in-swinger into the mixer at pace was unforgivable.

But that was encouraging. We didn't wilt. If we can get 6 points in the last two games, then it's up to the others to not even draw. It's a long shot, but still a shot.

Hopefully that slip by Ramirez when he would have made it 3-1 might be a sign of our luck changing in this final race for 4th????
