That Birmingham game was good lesson and we didn't learn from it

Chimbonda
Huddlestone
Zokora
Malbranque

aren't good enough for us if we want to be top 4 team, they aren't inconsisent performers, just doing there job against poor sides and most of them at Home.

* Chimbonda: Trying to send the ball back, slow the attack and poor crosses

* Huddlestone: Good passes some times, but very slow, score 2 or 3 in easy games then changing his job to poor shoots and hit the wall in FK in next games.

* Zokora: it wasn't his fault today, but this player was bad in CC final, poor 3 fouls near our box and missing one on one, then bad game against Birmingham, failed to impress and make any good partnership with Jenas for along Time.

* Malbranque: Good work rate and tackles, but always doing good one half and sleeping in 2nd halfs, offer nothing special.

with big respect for them as people and what they did in the past, but i can't hide my disappiontment because I love the team and i don't want us to waste our time and make very slow progress

one word for these players: Over-rated

can't see them backup for top 4 teams, let alone playing too much, why we did ? I think it's the right time to bring more quality players.

cheers !

I'll agree that Zokora is shit and Chimbonda IS overrated.

Other than that you are talking bollocks.

Most peple were saying Malbranque has been the player of the season so far last month.

I think his performances dipped the minute Lee was dropped. Funny that. However, he has been excellent.

i think really we need to take a step back and realise not enough players are as good as we think or not yet (if ever)

unless we see a major improvement sunday and then wednesday then our season is as good as over. im worried the respect of the acheivement of winning the carling cup is almost lost completely already. we are coming close to giving a lot of rival teams a reason to laugh at us yet again

I agree totally.

I do think Zokora has a future here though, as a squad player and getting the odd few minutes here and there closing out games and stuff, but you're right, all four aren't good enough.

Huddlestone, Chimbonda, Malbranque, Cerny, Tainio, Lee, Gardner, Stalteri, Murphy and Rocha should all be shown the door really.

None of them are good enough when you really think about it.

I'm not surprised he doesn't know, I never knew until I saw him play for Fulham and then checked the official site to see if he was still in our squad, and thus on loan.

I never saw an actual official site statement confirming he'd left completely, though I'm sure there was one.

I didn't know he had gone permanently, I thought he was only on loan. No need to get you're bollocks in a tizzy.

Suggesting we sell virtually our entire midfield is 'getting your bollocks in a tizzy', I'd have thought. Do keep these knee-jerk responses under control. Should you fail to do so, you could end up with a fractured jaw and extensive and costly dental reconstruction.

I like Malbranque, but agree that he wouldn't make it to a Top 4 strating line up, normally. If he has been our Player of the Season so far it is because the rest of the personnel have been under par.

Chimbonda: at the top of his game, making a steady progression since his times in France. His attitude sucks and he should be dispatched ASAP, he is not an asset to the spirit of the team.

Zokora: Most overrated player in the squad. He has a huge heart, though, as well as an impressive athletic condition. But that should be good enough for Wigan or Fulham, not for us.

Hudd: Good technical abilities, impressive size for a midfielder, but too slow and irregular.

Selling virtually our entire midfield? What..Huddlestone, Malbranque and Tainio?

We'd have O'Hara, Jenas, Lennon, Gilberto, Taarabt, Kaboul and Zokora all still at the Club, and I think these are all good enough to remain. I think we need to add some real quality to this group to take a step forward. As for the other three? I think we can do better, we should do better and we definitely have the money to do better.

I've been saying we need to get rid of a lot of the deadwood at the Club, as all Spurs fans have been. This is no knee-jerk reaction, but tonight's performances just further underlined the need to better our personnel.

We have the resources and the players are out there, so why not get them in to replace the players that end up letting us down week in, week out, and will ultimately be letting us down year in, year out if nothing is done.

It's clea we need to change something to take a step forward, so why not change the players constantly playing poorly and letting us down all the time, and bring in some better players in their positions.

Stop being such a really funny guy and actually get some sense about you.
