If we want to move to the next level he is a position we could potentially improve on

If we can get CL we can go for a world class playmaker

I thought he was quite good today

He didn't do anything much at all, good or bad. Relied on Kane, Alli and Lamela to be the influencers.

Needs to start contributing more, or he'll find himself dropped. We have good players knocking on the door.

Love Christian. Brilliant player, pure footballer, just someone who not only understands the nuances of the game but also has the ability to expose them, and he's only 23.
I think if he has a sustained period away from the team people would appreciate what he brings to the team.
He's also a fine presser

I'm not sure he deserves a lot of the stick he is currently getting. He's not been as effective this season but the way he drifts into pockets of space between the lines is partly what opens things up for us and allows others to get into areas to cause mayhem.

I'd say Son's movement is equally as effective though and Son's less of a defensive passenger. Eriksen is great because he plays fantastic passes and is an absolute assassin around the edge of the box. At the moment though Tom Carroll's looking more of a goal threat and Eriksen's not exactly carving out chances left right and center.

Created 5 chances according to Squawka, more than any other player. Put in two excellent corners that could have been goals on another day.

The game when he put away the free kicks aside he has been on the missing list since Sheffield Utd away. I would jus treat him for a couple of games and bring him back in. Been poor for awhile but still one of our best

He is not scoring enough I agree. But the number of runs he is making & number of spaces he is taking up is phenomenal. Moreover, he keeps the game moving.IMO, he is giving much needed balance when going forward. Where Eriksen used to play, now Alli is playing. Yes, there is scope for improvement - but wouldnt say he is out of form.

Yeah, but he doesn't run around while flapping his arms all over the place...

Eriksen seems kinda "out of form". Still I think he contributes to the team. Running like crazy, pressing, some good set pieces, ticking the ball along.
I guess I miss him smashing in the free kicks and the shots from just outside the box.
Have a feeling we have very high standards for Christian.

I think he should not be dropped. The team has really performed last weeks and he has been a part of that.

The only player that i do not think has improved season on season so far either through his hard work or by Poch working with him.

Certainly should make way for Son for a game or three.

In other news Arsenal had 65% of the play against the Saints today.

And lost because they didn't score more goals. Eriksen helps our team score goals. Twice as many assists in the league as any other spurs player.

Just pointing out a stat that just shows he does contribute.

He's an absolutely wonderful footballer (probably only behind Dembele in natural footballing talent at Spurs) but he's just out of form. It doesn't mean that we should sell him or that he's not in our plans going forward, he's just out of form. It happens.

Also, he's still only 23. How many footballer hit their peak at that age? He still has plenty of scope for improvement and long may he stay at Spurs.

He should be dropped for now as his form has dipped but no way should we sell him. He's a huge asset for us and just needs a rest. We all know what the lad is capable of.

He's not, mate. Very deceptive with this - he's good at really quick jogging.

Still an important squad player; need more form him though.
