And Thomas Delaney who called all the players together to shield for the cameras!
Respect to every single one of them. They did the right thing.

On a side note, my heart breaks for Kasper, he was first on scene at Leicester. Seeing two horrific incidents in just a few years, horrible.

I'm not a fan of social media but today it has been extremely beneficial and exactly what it should be.....

Everyone in that ground right now must be so pumped with adrenaline. Makes sense after hearing Eriksen should be alright they'd want to finish the match.

'The medical team did an amazing job'

Former Arsenal and England physiotherapist Gary Lewin, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "The medical team will have gone into what we call the 'emergency action plan'.

"Every team and stadium has an action plan. The medical team will have tried to stabilise him on the pitch. I have to commend the players, the way they protected him and stood around him, I thought was incredible. It showed amazing team spirit.

"Once the team have stabilised him, they would have got him into the cardiac position as soon as they possibly could. I think that's obviously where he is now. I believe the early reports are he is conscious, so let's cross our fingers.

"The picture of him leaving the ground with oxygen, that's another sign that whatever happened, the action taken by the medical team was very, very quick and very, very efficient.

"All I can say is what an amazing job they all did."

And one of Eriksens best friends of the pitch.

They said on the broadcast here in the USA that Eriksen was able to speak to his teammates over the phone so assuming he encouraged them to play the game.

The only positive to come out of the Muamba incident is the increased awareness and planning of such events, Muamba lost his career but as a result will probably save some lives.

I'm not an overly sensitive guy but seeing Eriksen like that had me welling up, so overjoyed that he's stable and awake, not only a magician of a footballer but an articulate and friendly human also.

That was a horrendous. Felt like one of my family when it was happening.
So glad he seems to be ok. Iconic wall of spirit from Danish lads. ?? For a speedy recovery.

Simon Kjaer is an absolute hero, his actions may very well have saved his life. I've only just stopped shaking, that was awful, and the BBC should have cut away long before they did. Prayers to Eriksen for a full recovery.

I didn’t see the incident happen, but assume Kjaer was the first player to notice something was horribly wrong?

Just crossed my mind how the Belgian Spurs are coping as they're about to play shortly. Lukaku as well.
