Hm, I somewhat get the concern now. Slightly worrying for sure.

Ten Hag isn't a joke like Ole. He's a widely respected Dutch manager and obviously Eriksen has the Ajax connection. He would at least listen to Ten Hag out of respect, wouldn't blow him off.

And United could surprise us and offer some absolutely bananas wages now that they've shed Pogba.

Still, feels like we have this in the bag. But maybe we shouldn't laugh this off.

So his options are;

Work with Conte again
Play again at a club where he has largely been loved for many years
Play in the Champions League
Play with some players who are actually likely to be his mates including his compatriot

Or
Play with a bunch of mercenaries
In the Europa League
At a club rebuilding from almost scratch
Renowned for having some of the most impatient fans in the league

Yeah he's off to United.

I have no doubt he would choose us over United
The bizarre part is that he doesn't make any sense for them tactically.

He wouldn't even be a starter, so they can't make the minutes argument.

You would have to blow up your system to play him and Bruno, they are effectively as similar as two players get. Even if you placed Eriksen sitting deeper or Bruno out wide, they take up the same positions and roles in buildup.

Be careful with this information, as it comes from some people (agents/movers) up North. Allegedly yanited have not officially bid for him.
Isn’t it nice to not be a club used for transfer speculation, rather than the club actually talking to the player concerned? Not a question to you @Hercules more an observation.

I met him years ago. Think it was 2015 in a cafe in Primrose Hill. I’d just moved back from years in Manchester ironically and we both spoke about how much we loved London.

Folks…… please stop saying “we’re acting like a big club”
Let’s just embrace the change in our transfer process…..

Did he happen to tell you whether he'd be rejoining Spurs in summer 2022?!

Bring him home already. Unfinished business with Kane, Son, Hugo, Dier etc. We were close under Poch, but now we really mean business.

He'll give us the option to be flexible in system depending on match and how the match is going. We're going to be up there, mark my words. Not saying winning the league, but certainly challenging.
