Ah man, I hope you won't be gone long as I, and I'm sure 99.9% of the posters here really appreciate the info and are capable of actually behaving like adults and realising things are passed on in good faith.

Anyone bashing ITK or 'pointing out when it's wrong' can get in the sea, no need for it, just hold your tongue and move on please.

I am not over-invested, I don't care if Eriksen signs but it needs to be pointed out when things aren't correct. Unless we want to pretend all info is 100% at all times. Ally Gold the top Spurs journalist has just said Eriksen and his team haven't been spoken to in 2 weeks by Tottenham. I didn't get the Levy and Eriksen agent are best friends ITK, now it's alluded to that DL has fucked it all up. They seem to have a dramatic relationship, I'd like to hear more info on that if possible because Levy being crazy is very interesting.

I enjoy the posts of the ITK but let's not pretend this one has been a stellar success.

You need to calm down - ITK guys can only pass on what they have heard. All of us should know by now to take it with a pinch of salt as things change quickly. Having a go at ITK people who don't need to post anything here will only result in them being pissed off and more reluctant to share anything. So wind your neck in before you ruin it for everybody else.

Phil, pal, do you understand the concept of time? Do you also have a wife or husband?

If you don't, both of these things will help you understand that something said in the morning is not necessarily going to be the same come the evening.

You also shouldn't believe everything you read in the press (they have incomes to create) and you shouldn't also necessarily believe that all information provided by anyone ITK isn't subject to change and by the time it gets typed on here, it can easily be "not true" as is the pace of some negotiations/talks.

So, yes, invested is the right word. Take everything with a pinch of salt.

Just because they not spoke for a couple of weeks doesn't mean things are over anyway. Might just mean we've said, here's our offer, take it or leave and we've had info he's on holiday before making a decision. Ultimately I prefer this, can't stand when people want you to chase them.

Also I think people woefully misunderstand what ITK is. ITK is a person who has a source passing on what they've heard in good faith. The ITK poster is telling the truth in terms of they're sharing what they've been given but it doesn't mean it's the clubs truth so to speak. I think people would react a lot less emotionally if that was accepted tbh.

Free transfer for a player with all the qualities we need who knows his teammates already and knows the way his manager wants him to work and save anywhere between 30-60 meaning we can push the boat out on other transfers. Respectfully I'm not sure how you can't see the massive benefits to that.

This is the thing that always annoys me about transfers. Info can very much be true and legitimate even if a transfer didn't occur.

A great example of this is Frenkie De Jong. We had a lot of ITK on Poch wanting him and only him, and a couple of years later there were direct quotes from him saying he almost joined Spurs.

I genuinely believe Spurs were confident of getting him until yesterday, never meant it was guaranteed to happen. No one said he signed (and he still might if there's another twist in the coming days!)

Wish people could realise that and stop scaring off people that share info in good faith.

The digs aimed at the info are highly frustrating; as alluded to by a couple of others, there seems to be a small minority that ruins it for others with their jibes and slyness at the ITKs who kindly share their information.

I think a 0% tolerance approach should be in force, and those making sly digs should be banned immediately.
