Dempsey is shit! would rather have Pinaar back than let Duce out on the pich again. Everyone can play good against west ham when you play with player like Lennon and bale running mad all the time. But even today and all other games he look clumsy and have 200toches on the ball. I think Duce have spent more time this season on the floor and moaning than play fotball actually. would be happy if he take the next plane back to U.S. There he can play basketball or someything that maby he is good at ??
is this even written in english? or is it some sort of elvish?

I'd much rather be proved wrong every week about a guy that I had previously labeled as not being up to snuff than for him to continually struggle playing for Tottenham. I don't understand being angry that a guy performed well just because you want to save face. Most of us here can admit when we were wrong, and if Dempsey continues to perform as he did today, then I'll be glad to eat some crow after every performance. It's all about the good of the club.

Or possibly we could get him to tutor you in the correct use of the English language?

Then again, maybe you could move away from posting on message boards and do something that, maybe, you are good at.

Slug breeding perhaps?

A lot better performance in the second half! Hopefully this will help his confidence and we can start seeing the player he was at Fulham.

Because getting on his case is really going to help him. Nobody except a handful of players has been consistently decent this season yet he was already the new scapegoat.

Supporters need to do just that. Support, not whinge and bitch like lil girls.

I support the players that gives 110% for the )TEAM).like Tom does. Duce can`t handle a ball laying on the floor and just jog around in defence makes Sandros and Toms game a living hell in the middle. You need to stop focus on one single player dude this is a team sport.

"players that give 100% for the team like Tom does". Are you talking about the same "Tom" that took to twitter to hit out against AVB in his first fortnight as manager? Yeah. Real team player that one. But even after what i personally believe to be a real low blow, i'll support Thudd through thick and thin, because he's spurs. Perhaps you should do the same for Dempsey.

I cant remember the exact words, but it was along the lines of "Dont walk in expecting respect, respect has to be earned"

I thought he was referring to his private life rather than football, didn't he say that he wasn't talking about the coach when he said that?

He needs a goal against Liverpool , Clint has a hard job because he is gonna be compared to Rafa who was a genius at times . Clint has been shit but yesterday proved there still might be a player in their worth wearing the shirt he needs to crack on now no excuses he gets enough playing time .

The USA international featured in an inside-left position for the Cottagers, but is now playing in the hole behind the striker at Spurs.

And while admitting it took him some time to adapt to his new position, Dempsey is enjoying his new lease on life.

"I've been frustrated with not really getting on the ball, getting into the game and impacting games," the 29-year-old told London 24.

"I was able to give a bit more of an angle and drive with the ball a little bit more, and take some more shots and try to create chances for other people.

"It's good to play a part in two of the goals and I was a little bit unlucky not to get one myself, hitting the bar.

"It was a game I enjoyed because I'm a player that needs to get on the ball. I'm better getting it on the half-turn and then facing my opponents, rather than always playing with my back to goal.

"I'm traditionally used to playing in a 4-4-2 system when I'm the guy on the left, but I'm not really an out-and-out winger. I'm someone who comes inside and I'm more like an attacking inside-left player.

"Being more central is good because you're in a position where you see more of the ball, but it's about getting on the ball and making the movements that's going to allow you to do that. I'm starting to do a better job in that respect.

"It's just about learning how to play with this team. Every team is different and there's a period of adjustment.

"I didn't have a pre-season with them, or anybody, so I'm trying to play catch-up a little bit and trying to adjust to this team and the style that they play."

god forbid we let a player without a preseason settle into the team while playing a role he's not used to...
Pfft. Logic is for the weak. Unthinking overreaction is where it's at.

I had welcomed his signing for us but had been very disappointed with him thus far, however yesterday he had a really good game. He worked hard, he was a threat and he was creative.

I think as fans we just want the best for the team and if players aren't doing it we are on their cases. So far I think we have really suffered from injuries and this has affected the players. Hopefully we will get some players back and will see the best of the new ones.

I think we have missed Parker massively especially without Mods and VDV. He and Sandro will provide the kind of platform on which anybody in front of them will be able to be far more effective.
