Stobart from goal reporting it's down to the structure of the deal between levy and aulas.

Also suggested levy has returned from holiday. Reason for lack of official bids?

They must really want the money now if they rejected an offer that totalled more than the asking price including bonuses.
Knowing Levy the bonuses where probably something along the lines of 500k every 50 international caps and 5k every 50 PL goals.

A few weeks ago i thought EDS Amy was reasonable, but then she posted that we would sign Werner in x amount of time and when it didn't happen she deleted the tweet.

I'm holding out some hope that we can have him in the squad for Saturday but with the clubs seemingly not yet at agreement I think it will take at least a week with all the formalities and faffing about to complete.

It's how you spot the con artists. Especially when the same people constantly tell you to refer to their timeline to see how accurate they are...

Just seen this on Twitter, her record is about 50/60% maybe higher
She throws shit against the wall to see what sticks. If it does, she flaunts her self saying she had it before anyone. If it doesnt, I think she deletes most of those tweets. IF anyone does give her info(which I doubt), they probably give her 75% bullshit

Anyone care to convince me this signing will be a success?

I think it will be a success from the point of view we'll improve as a team with more pace and movement in the side.

I'm not expecting him to smash in 20 goals and tear the league up in his first season, but I do think we'll see more space for others to operate in as a result of better movement and having a player who can commit a player, get past them and disrupt the opponents shape.

Latest bit of ITK would suggest that she was right in this case (y)

This is no way an attempt of refuting your post, but I feel the need to give my opinion on some of the topics you mentioned.

First of all, and this is more fact that opinion, Brazil doesn't export players "all over their own continent". There might be some in Mexico and the US (and by that I mean maybe 10 between both countries), but other than that they are only in Brazil. Brazil is the biggest economy in SA and where they pay the biggest wages. There hasn't been a brazilian playing in Argentina in the last 15 years, and I think no more than 10 in history. But they do export to eastern europe and asia, so your point still stands.

I think the biggest advantage the french league has, it that it's the first port for african players. Generally speaking it's more the african french players that adapt best to the EPL, that the native french. And to emphasize my point, this now expanding to the belgian league, and they are benefiting from that.

And in the case of your last point, I think it's also fair to say that they want to leave and they don't have the sense of belonging that german, spanish or dutch players may have. Because compared to the wages in the EPL, 80% of the teams of the top5 leagues pay lower wages than for example Swansea.

You'd have to qualify "African French Players". For example there are currently 50 french players in the UK, 35 in the EPL. There were only 15 African players called up to the last ACN. And I would imagine a percentage of those are first or second generation french players who just chose to represent African countries of their parents and/or received their football education in France, which I would still classify as a product and export of the french footballing system.

Personally I don't entirely buy that "belonging" argument really. I think it's about the sheer quantity of desirable, quality, well coached players available that are also more adaptable than many of the other major european nations combined with Ligue1 being the poorest (certainly the poorest in revenue) of the major 5 leagues.

As a percentage of it's population I would imagine the dutch and Belgians are pretty high put they are tiny countries. Purely numerically the French piss it in terms of export.

Next AFCON is 2017. There are ways of managing international commitments. As long as he's not going missing and coming back late, it's not going to be a problem.

True, but the qualification games starts in 2016 and then you have the WC qualifications, were the play have to go all the way to Africa and will need an extra day both going there and coming back.

@Kjetil Ronning You obviously have never seen a map of the world o_O Each trip to Africa with take an extra day each way (8-12 hours), which means he'll miss 4-5 days of training and even games, at times, as a national team can require players to spend a certain amount of time before a game.
