@blackburn in 2009, just before Xmas. we won 2-0, Crouch with both. Snowed all the way up there. That was a cold one!
Forest away in 5th round of the cup, abandoned after 20 mins and took me 10 hours to get home
When I got back to my car that night it had about four inches of snow on it and I had to drive back to Bournemouth , luckily the roads weren’t too bad and there wasn’t any snow south of BasingstokeWas that the replay against the mighty Rochdale?
I think I was at this game too.WBA away. Was -5 pitchside for an evening KO. We were 2-0 down having started with Gregorz Rasiak up front, who is the worst player I’ve ever seen play for us. Mido I believe pulled one back.
The path they make away fans leave stadium on was like an ice rink too
That replay against Rochdale was fun. Ended 6-1.Inspired by a memory about a match away at Stoke. We often talk about the coldest games we've ever been to (I have no idea why).
- Fulham away Jan 2011 in the cup when Dawson got sent off and we were 4-0 down at halftime. I spilt boiling tea on my hands at HT and couldn't feel it.
- Leicester away Jan 2006 also a cup game. Spurs 2-0 up, we lose 3-2 to an injury time goal. Absolutely freezing.
- there was also a cup game (can't remember who to) whilst we were at Wembley during which it snowed the whole game. Was painful.
Anyone got others?
Have to agree. Remember a December fixture there around 2012 or 2013 and we won. It was so fucking cold. It had been snowing the days beforehand and this game was played on a day where skies were clear. The only time I've felt cold that bad was when I visited Prague in December a few years ago and it was -9 degrees.Fulham away any time in the winter!
