I thought Ledley wouldn't be able to string any sort of run of games together and perhaps was the time we should have been looking at a settled defence without him.

I thought Friedel was a waste of time and was in the Gomes camp.

I thought Bale would eventually go back to left-back in place of Disco Benny allowing Modric to go back to wide left and Parker / Sandro in the middle. Bale is far too valuable attacking wise now (I thought attacking from deep would benefit him as it did when he first broke back into the team), Disco Benny is a much better defender / left-back.

It just means Sandro has been the odd man out at times but I'm sure Parker will need resting or tactics / injuries will dictate him getting more game-time. He's way too valuable to lose.

Lastly, I thought Corkula should have been ahead of Walker but the latter has proved that he doesn't impede Lennon's game as Chimbonda and Johnson previously have for club and country respectively. Plus he's started to develop as a defender, rather than being a right-back who looked good because he was able to bomb up the pitch really fast.

Oh and I also suggested VDV being benched to allow Modric to be pushed further up the pitch allowing Lennon and Bale to play on the wings and both Parker and Sandro centrally. But that was mainly because I was trying to find a way to fit Sandro in.

Losing Frank Arnesen would signal the end of our resurgence, Chelsea had ruined everything.

Having a skills coach would give us the a big advantage in the development of the kids.

Leigh Mills is going to be the new Ledley King, Helder Postiga will come good, Routledge is better than Lennon.

And of course, Redknapp has no idea how to manage at the top level, fucking chancer.

Oh, and predictions for every game that has ever been played, it's a good job i dont gamble.

I thought Kaboul was going to end up as a defensive midfielder. I thought he would be too much of a reliability at centre back. Now he looks like he could be a top class centre back for years to come.

I also thought Friedel would be the number 2.

Thought Bentley was gonna be a hero

Might as well add that to my list as well. I was convinced Bentley was going to be a big hit and cement his place in the England side as Beckham's successor as well.

What a spectacular fall from grace that guy has had. Clearly talented but lacked in professional application once he got his big move, exposed a poor attitude at the end of the day.

Yup...that was another one of mine, too

Sadly, no-one showed me an equation demonstrating that his talent ratio, not insignificant in itself, would lead to a null hypothesis when multiplied by the retarded dick ratio

I've been wrong since I started supporting Spurs a little over 40yrs ago.

Every year without fail I've refused to accept that we aren't the best team. Of course we were always the best bloody team. I mean growing up I got into fights over it.

Now that we actually are the best team ;) I can see I was wrong for all those years.

Said Parker was shit.

Said Friedel underwhelming signing

After the first two games said we'd be lucky to finish in the top 7

I was disgusted at this summer's transfer activity - while I was thrilled with Adebayor, I thought Parker and Friedel were two horrific signings.

At very first thought Modric was over-rated and a waste of money and didn't look like scoring enough goals as an attacking CM, he still rarely scores but over time have realised he is one hell of a player.

Thought Friedal was past it.
Thought our season was gone after the first two games and best we can hope for is mid-table mediocrity.
Thought we should have changed our manager after our first two games.

Happy to be wrong on all counts.
