I thought Ledley wouldn't be able to string any sort of run of games together and perhaps was the time we should have been looking at a settled defence without him.
I thought Friedel was a waste of time and was in the Gomes camp.
I thought Bale would eventually go back to left-back in place of Disco Benny allowing Modric to go back to wide left and Parker / Sandro in the middle. Bale is far too valuable attacking wise now (I thought attacking from deep would benefit him as it did when he first broke back into the team), Disco Benny is a much better defender / left-back.
It just means Sandro has been the odd man out at times but I'm sure Parker will need resting or tactics / injuries will dictate him getting more game-time. He's way too valuable to lose.
Lastly, I thought Corkula should have been ahead of Walker but the latter has proved that he doesn't impede Lennon's game as Chimbonda and Johnson previously have for club and country respectively. Plus he's started to develop as a defender, rather than being a right-back who looked good because he was able to bomb up the pitch really fast.
Oh and I also suggested VDV being benched to allow Modric to be pushed further up the pitch allowing Lennon and Bale to play on the wings and both Parker and Sandro centrally. But that was mainly because I was trying to find a way to fit Sandro in.
