Covered means covered with a tarpaulin and not in use. All of the seats are 'covered' by the roof. Although, if the anniversary games are anything to go by then there is certainly a few leaks that need to be plugged!

They've got a massive corporate area right opposite where the tv cameras will be. It's going to be like wembley with empty seats for the first 15 minutes of second half. Amazing the dimwits have made the same mistake

Friend of mine who has been working there recently and west ham season ticket holder took a picture of where his sit was,lets just say he is closer to god than i will ever be.
In his own words its quite a way back plus the retractable seating Does not cover the whole running track only some of it, so not great for atmosphere.
