Valdivia for Chile is damn good. At 31 his best may be behind him, but it seems odd he never played in Europe.

scratch that - he had a year at Rayo and a year in Switzerland when he was very young.

This Geordie **** is like a sonic death drone. His voice is putting me into an agitated coma.

There used to be a program on Sky about 6 years ago called Foot Brazil, it was only about half an hour along but used to show some decent highlights of the Brazil serie A. By far the best 2 players were Hernanes at Sao Paulo and Valdivia at Palmeiras. I was amazed that he didn't get a move to Spain or Italy like Hernanes and instead ended up in the middle east somewhere.

Well done to Chile. Still gutted that Sanchez plays for Arsenal as he's a player I've really liked since watching him at Udinese. It's like Bergkamp again. A player I absolutely love to watch play but find it really painful because of him playing for the scum.

I believe it. Thats what Pele and Valderrama said about him at the time, according to wiki. He was well known in South America.

Argentina haven't won a trophy since 1993!!!!

Since then these South American nation have won a trophy
Brazil: 2 World cups, 4 Copa America's
Uruguay: 2 Copa America's
Colombia: 1 Copa America
Chile: 1 Copa America

Crazy considering the players they have had

They really blew it last year. I know Germany were excellent but Argentina really had their chance and should've pushed for it.
