Coveting other EPL Teams' Players - Whom do you wish we had?

Which players at other EPL clubs do you watch play and just say - "damn, how did they get him?" or "I wish we had that guy" or "I love the way that guy plays; he'd make it great at Spurs"

For me in the "they were unattainable to begin with" category it would be Sanchez, Aguero, De Bruyne, Sliva

For the "how did we let that one slip by" it would be Payet, Mahrez, Hazard

Please don't get me wrong - I love our team and Sanchez and Hazard in particular are players I would pass on now and still sleep well at night.

But who makes you watch games you wouldn't normally watch wishing they were lighting it up at the Lane for Spurs?

I wanted us to go for Mahrez and Vardy in the summer. I didn't want Cabaye but he has proved me wrong. Payet has been fantastic.

I also like Wijnaldum, van Dijk & Lens but the player I really, really wanted us to sign (and still do) is Konoplyanka. He's looked absolutely awesome this season. We'll never get Bale back but Kono would have been the next best thing. Gutted we didn't move after we were linked so often.

This is one I definitely wish we had playing for us at the moment.

I was gutted when we didn't sign Isco. Players like that would become legends for us.

The biggest positive is that we seem to be heading in the right direction so hopefully we stand more opportunity of grabbing these sort of talents in the future.

I'm not sure he'd work wonders for Poch, my mate's a West Ham fan and said he doesn't work that hard, but he is a great player to watch. He is very much their new Di Canio and would be a kind of Berbatov/Ginola figure for us.

Well, the spirit of the thread is pining after the supermodels that were always out of our league, or the girl next door who we look at now that she's in a relationship and we're jealous and kicking ourselves we didn't go balls to the wall to make her ours.

With that in mind, we have to look at the other top 6-7 teams in the league and put ourselves in their shoes.

With that in mind, unattainable players for other teams would be Kane only, probably, because he came through the academy.

How did we miss out on them right now would be in this order I think: Lloris, Alderweireld, Eriksen, Son, Vertonghen, Lamela, Alli, Dier
