It's been mentioned on a few threads and I'd say their age is a massive influence on all of them. The players mentioned along with what our centre backs, Wanyama, Lamela etc are not at the peak of their powers. Bar a horrendous injury their price will only increase. When you look at other teams their average age is much higher. None of our assets are gonna lose money. Not that I thing our net worth in players is thatcher important with regards to our success, but it's not a bad thing.

Crazy Money might be my second favourite American Indian Chieftain.

After Chief Financial Officer of course.

The thing is, a player's footballing ability is only part of the valuation now. The marketability is now arguably even more important in some instances. When Man Utd signed Ibrahimovic they sold £76m worth of shirts with his name on the back within the first week and it was something similar with Pogba. So even if they flop on the pitch, and even considering how much Pogba cost, they're still good signings in a way.

Kane and Alli are two young players who could play at the top for another 10+ years each. But what they'll also do is star in adverts, raise the profile of the club and inspire young kids to start supporting Tottenham so that even after they've left the club, we'd still make money from them.

It's why the two big Spanish teams are bigger clubs than Bayern Munich - they've made sure that the Ronaldos, Messis, Ronaldinhos and Zidanes, the most iconic players in the world, are associated with their clubs.
