I thought it would be a mistake to play 1 spinner here. Hopefullythey will only make 300. If Swan is bowling on the 5th day we will have a slender chance of victory.

Yeah, I went with keeper/batsman as opposed to best at 7 although you are probably right. I would move him to 6 and play another spinner, cant see us getting through their line up twice on what is essentially a flat wicket.

I agree with that SB, I know our top order failed today bit this is the first time about a calendar year.

Its a slow pitch and wickets will be at a premium so I would have dropped a bat too and played Monty. Maybe even dropped Pieterson.

England looked all over the place - we have seriously underestimated Pakistan this time, they can't blame that on the weather.

Well obviously a poor score but lets not panic yet. We have a bunch of seriously talented cricketers and with some quality coaching staff. Hopefully the players will look to turn it on in the field and get a big score next innings.

I agree. He's not been near his best for some time, even in last year's Ashes series he didn't have the best of times, that massive double hundred aside...

As you say, it's a massive call. The Aussies stuck with Pointing and Hussey and they both managed centuries against India.
