I never thought I would say this, but today it was the Brazilian team (and coach) letting Neymar down, and not the other way around. With just five minutes to go in overtime, and already having the advantage, how the hell Croatia was able to find just three Brazilian defenders?

xavi and iniesta had a array of amazing players around them at the international level, luka does not. Croatia getting to 2 semis is as impressive as spain winning a world cup considering the size of the nations.
The fact that at the age of 34 Iniesta was playing in the Japanese league and Modric at 37 is still a elite player who just won a CL and is the star man for his nation reaching a WC semi settles it, longevity counts for a lot in this sport

all amazing players who should be heralded as the greatest, personally like modric more, because you can see how Modric pushes his team on sometimes single handled at international level, quite inspiration, whilst xavi and iniesta had a golden generation around them villa, torres, pique, puyol, ramos, alba, alonso, fabregas, , so wasn't afforded the same opportunity to do so, still amazing players mind
