But you're then disregarding the foul, which was on a player in on goal. There was a dive after, but it wasn't a dive to cheat, imo. There was enough contact to buckle his standing foot and should have been a pen.

There was contact on the player going through, but I don't think there was enough to bring him down.

And any dive is to cheat.

Politics is the only reason he's on this game. Qatar has the Co chair on FIFA ref committee and the same guy is chair of the AFC ref committee. After Asia's best ref got sent home early this was their consolation gift.
