I think it’s safe to say he’s had a difficult second season with us.

It's fair to say the team as a whole can't defend for shit but when you are part of a good defence one season then dropped for no fault of your own in favour of a player who wouldn't commit himself to the club, then you might lose your way a bit and struggle. Imagine when Kane started playing well if he lost his place to Soldado again the next season?

Sanchez was dropped at the beginning of the season in favour of Toby. Then when he gets a chance to get back in the team he gets injured.
Sanchez needs games under his belt again.

Trippier is a waste of space.

Poch is wasting both GK and KWP in the way he's set them up, GK needs more space to play, and KWP needs to be on the right using his pace against their left side to stretch with the amount of wide players we have who can run in beyond.

We also need to stop playing this 5 at the back, we are not getting joy down the wings, palace are going 3 up against our left side, and our right side isn't fast enough to get beyond.

We need to swap to a back 4 and give us the ability to break in centrally, some danger, we'll then either get joy there, or down the wings because palace will have to adapt and cover the central threat giving us more space finally down the line.

This is going to be year another abysmal first half. Like the last game, where I keep expecting Chris Armstrong to come on.

They'll turn up second half and leave it all too late.

But, a dose of realism won't hurt. Best players missing this was always going to be a horrible period of football. Although, I am.fairly concerned about the defense, which should be better.

Pochettino has nothing else to offer team selection wise. It is what it is.
