Good to see Dembele starting again, and the combination of Alli and Son suggests Poch wants to get at them with some quick runs. Although I would have thought Walker would be more complimentary to that overall, so I'm a bit surprised to see him not even on the bench.

Can't believe he dropped lamela over alli just gonna have to get used to the fact no matter what he does alli he will never be dropped
Lamela started in the week, Alli only got about 10 minutes off the bench- makes sense.

But Son was clearly injured...:p

Not a fan of the Alli, Dier Dembele triumvirate but hope they can do enough and Son keep help keep the tempo high.

For me Lamela was the obvious to be replaced by Son. They play a similar role, and Lamela has looked a bit leggy. Even if you disagree though there's room to admit it's a judgement call. Why do you think it's a no brainer that Alli should be dropped before Lamela?

Do you really need to ask? On the subject of Lamela there is an almost fetish like quality from some folk. It's weird.

Lamela's not been great lately but i fail to see what Eriksen brings to the team, to be quite honest with you. I'd rather have Lamela's pressing in this team and his will to at least try to do something.

How are people still struggling to get the full back rotation?

If we play games in quick succession the full backs are rotated. Walker and Davies played on Wednesday and so Trippier and Rose were always going to play.

I can see your point, but having eriksen number 10 lamela right and son left seems just so much more fluid than having alli running around out of position

For me, Son has got the pace and get up and go over Lamela

The only strange thing is no Walker on the bench. Unless he's injured, obviously.
Why is it strange? You want us to name two full backs on the bench? He's been rested, like we always do with our fullbacks. If we needed to replace Trippier, Dier or Alderweireld could play there.

The right selection for me. Although I would have been tempted to rest Dier and pull Alli back with Dembele. Coco in the attacking three.
