I don't think its fair for people to keep loyalty points indefinitely either

I think that shows loyalty though, and it costs however much a season to renew that loyalty.
Somebody pointed out that when we eventually move to a bigger capacity we will likely have more than 32,000 season ticket holders - going by the current 31,000 Wembley allocation how are they going to work that ? No tickets for members ? No tickets for co-operates ? Thats why i still think the system needs looking at again.

No tickets for members, loyalty point cut off for season ticket holders. Corporate would still get their % as usual.

My mate got a ticket assigned to him where another mate went to buy a group of tickets. The person who paid was unsuccessful, 2 in the group were successful.

My mate has logged into his account now, has an overview of Wembley and the option to add tickets to his basket to assign where he wants to sit! 2 reserved tickets allocated to his account.

Anyone else got this?

He's just had an email saying the payment was unsuccessful on the first card so he has to log in to his account and do it on his. He can pick tickets from other blocks, a few in the upper and a couple in the lower.....

I noticed on the site if you click on the Capital One Cup Final 'info' option it now says under 'Open to' 'CT' - obviously stands for Co-orperate Tickets

It isnt the system that is wrong in that instance- even if you changed the system the fundamental problem would remain i.e not enough tickets go around.

The old Wembley only held 82,000 capacity so i would be surprised if they gave 49% of the tickets - there wouldnt of been many left for the corporates :)

I might be wrong but people seem to be under the impression you keep loyalty points even if you don't go anymore that's not true.

Those people who amassed those loyalty points are still home season ticket holders or they still wouldn't have their points. They are still loyal but their past loyalty is just forgotten about like it never counted.

Neither system is perfect though

The thing is - which generation fans do you look after ? The ones that used to go or the ones that go now ? Often i've bumped into people that say "i used to go down there all the time..." - the only other option is a free for all, no loyalty points, just back to the old days of queuing up outside the ticket shop, 1 ticket per ST/Member & thats it - no getting for mates etc...

But they do still go that's tha point they just can't do all the away games now. If the next generation put in similar stints of following the club they would catch up point wise eventually but like i say every system has floors. If anything I probably slightly benefitted from the change I dont think its right though

You can score plenty of loyalty points in one season alone just by attending all the home games

Not as a season ticket holder you just get the 25 or 30 for buying your season ticket and points for the extra cup games you attend.

and if your attending most away games you are going to the home games aswell so you are closing the gap points wise

Cup and Away games.

I still think Loyalty Points have been ruined by the 5 year rolling total. Loyalty shouldn't be based on short-term loyalty.
It has made my chances of getting away tickets to certain games a lot easier than it used to be, but it's penalised those who have had a season ticket for donkeys years and shown their loyalty season after season who may now only attend one or two local away days as the cost of football has shot up.
