He looked great last night, top drawer in fact but hate to put the mockers on all this adulation. How would his pace look against a winger? Someone like a Hazard or Walcott? There must be a reason Ajax play him in midfield. Is he cut out to play LB in the EPL? That said I wouldn't even mind him in defensivel or left midfield. His versatility gives options without doubt and maybe play him at LB against teams who park the bus. We need him to have a terrible World Cup from now on in. LVG laves him but thought they were getting Bridge?

Yet another data point that demonstrates what a phenomenal coach and developer of talent Frank de Boer is. Had we hired him, I'm almost certain Blind would've been his first signing.

Nevertheless, I hope Baldini and Levy can do a deal with Ajax and bring him in anyways. Only Ricardo Rodriguez is as good a fit for us, but he's more expensive.
