Guys, I'm hearing from Liverpool ITK that Kenny has been sacked. Has anyone else heard anything similar?

I personally think that he's got to go - bring in Martinez, Rodgers, Lambert, hell - even Rafa!

It's all over Twatter and even been picked up by various news sites. Wouldn't rule it out being true, even though you should never trust a word that gets written on Twatter.

I agree with you, he should go, but I thought he was going to have to walk, couldn't see the owners actually booting him out as it would not make them popular among the die hard KK-devotees, so about 50% of the fanbase.

Yep, the rumours are everywhere. Apparently KKKenny and Steve Clark were both summoned to Boston to have a "chat" with the owners.

Liverpool aren't offically commenting yet. I can see the statement being something aloong the lines of KKKenny leaving his position by mutual consent, and moving back to his ambassador role again.

I work in Boston so if I see Kenny, I'll let you know :D

But I really hope this isn't true

He wont be sacked, cant see it he is an absolute legend there and the yanks in charge seem to be the more sensible variety, he will be moved upstairs and thanked for his efforts.

I have a feeling we will be seeign the fat waiter Rafa back in place, he was loved at Liverpool, a lot more than I realised.

Capello for Liverpool?

I know! With King Kenny in charge next season I don't see them as a threat!

But if get a decent manager in, we might have a challenge.

TBH I really cant see a challenge, their midfield is awful bar Lucus and the very rare occasion Gerrard seems fit. Again in defence Agger is the only one I would take, possibly Henrique.

I hope he stays. I think he will atleast get till Jan, but i do think he will be told to get the best out of what he has spent and wont get another 100+ million to spend.

Actually I clicked Agree before finishing fully reading your post...

Personally I also don't think he will be sacked, but I don't think he will be shifted upstairs either. I think there is probably some truth to him being summoned to America for talks but I reckon they will give him another chance for the coming season but may well lay it on the line with something along the lines of "You're expected to be in the top 4 by Christmas or you're out on your ear you fucking ignorant shite" (ok so I embellished a little at the end, but you get my drift!!)

Of course, I'm hoping he doesn't get sacked. That way it is one less team to worry about next season because he is a shite manager!!

Think people have jumped on the back of the McLeish story and some scally Evertonians or Mancs threw Kenny into the mix. I'd be surprised if it was true but then Twitter can't be wrong...
