Our Academy won their first game at the Dallas Cup, beating Dallas Texans 2-1. Anton Blackwood scored the winner from the spot after Alex Pritchard was fouled. Not sure who got the first.

They play the Japanese National U-18s tomorrow and then Tigres of Mexico on Wednesday.

Our Academy squad kick-started the Dallas Cup with a win against host side Dallas Texans in the tournament's opening game on Sunday.
Goals from triallist Massimo Luongo and Anton Blackwood's penalty secured a 2-1 win at Pizza Hut Park, home of MLS side FC Dallas.
Massimo Luongo, could it be this guy?

It's good to keep up with the Academy lads, so thanks for that.

Pizza Hut Park - please God don't let the new WHL be Dominos Mighty Meaty Bowl.

Won the last game 2-0. Now we just have to hope that Japan lose, draw or only win by one goal against Dallas.

Dallas Texans beat Japan 3-2 so we go through! We'll play the winner of the game between Cruzeiro and Guadalajara Chivas in the semis on Friday. Amusingly, Chelsea are out.

COYS!
