A performance more down to the quality per player than actually having any sort of game plan or tactics but a decent win and keeps us above arsenal and wet spam

Well played match and unlucky to not score at least one more. Dier had one of his better if not best gave in a while. PEH, man of the match for me.

Don't get the LC love or Winks hate in this. Lo Celso's passes were mostly under hit all day slowing the player down and giving the defender a chance to get back in the play. Winks comes in after we had stopped pressing but split the lines with 2 or three passes and really never put a foot down wrong.

Not saying Winks should start, just that based on today's match I don't understand what some of you are saying. Actually thought LC was the weak link most of the match.

Wink link, nice freudian slip!

Agree with you in terms of general play from winks vs LC, although my dislike of winks is based on what Trix told us about winks behind the scenes

To be honest that's all we need this season, win the last 2 by hook or by crook, and then address the tactical side when the new manager arrives.

If that approach gets us top 6 this season after what was looking like an absolute write-off, I'll take it.

Hojbjerg had a solid game, and had a goal and assist.

Coady kept the score down. Could have gone to either, but you normally see the MOTM go to the winning team

You do, which is wrong IMO.

It should go to the best man on the pitch. A lot of the time that’s a defender or goalkeeper on a losing side.

Missed the second half, but if it was anything like the first it was a good performance with better effort levels than previously seen. Unlucky not to score a couple more I suspect.

Said at HT here at home that the pitch seemed under watered and a bit sticky. He should adjust to that but it seemed like there was a lack of zip all over.

I personally, would have given Hojbjerg Mom but can completely understand why Neville (a defender) went for Coady.
He made 2 goal line clearances is the space of a few seconds and without him, it could've been a cricket score.
Certainly not something to piss and moan about "anti-spurs bias", ffs.
We scored two , hit the post 3 times and their keeper had a hand in stopping a cricket score.
Coady played well, but slipped for the first goal and couldn't stop all those attempts we had....so mom generous.

Vibe in here feels like we lost ?
Maybe it is because we know how fragile we have been this year, and that this was a win against a very poor Wolves team that never realy pressed us. If this was Leeds again i think the same outcome would be as last week.

How about we stop fekin moaning at everything for a change...?

Like I said, it was a throwaway comment. You're assuming my annoyance at Sissoko coming on lasted more than 10 seconds... I think everyone has been guilty of just typing the first thing that comes into their head.

Oh yeah, I agree. I did think that CC was very good though, especially in the first half so while I don't agree with Neville's choice, I can see why it was made.
He even admitted himself that he was torn between a few players, so I'm not going to have a pop at him about it. He said he'd get pelters about his choice.

To be honest, there were some decent performances but on the whole, I don't think any player really stood out massively.
I'd have gone for Hojbjerg though, thought he was solid with a decent assist and a tidy goal from good instincts.
