Are we now saying we have people on this forum that can tell the sincerity of a written piece in the matchday program now just by reading it?

So get Poch back. Let Ryan be one of his team as possible preparation for the future. Just eat a bit more humble pie and we can move forward again.

Shocked he has spoken as he rarely says anything in public. So maybe that’s a good sign of things to come

Fans are back probably not looking forward to the abuse coming, deflection. The fans mostly have had just about enough of him imo.

Should have put a crying emoji  at the end of it, that normally pulls on the heart strings, can't get more sincere than that.

Wow, fair play.

Needs to back that up now though.
Big statement though hey Trix. Can’t remember Levy saying anything like this before, the pressure from fans and THST etc must be getting the message across at how fucked off we all are with what’s happened the last few years.

Like you say, now he needs to back it up.

I think levy can be completely disconnected from the fans with some decisions he makes but one thing I will credit him with is that he will learn quickly after he makes a mistake.

Aren't we the first and only Prem club to have a fan representative on the executive board?

I've never doubted his motives mate, problem is I don't think they have always aligned with Enic's as a company.

Plenty of fans were calling for Poch's head.

Same with Jol.

Let's not pretend that Levy isn't reactive to the feeling from the fans, particularly when it comes to managers.

Interesting. That completely makes sense that ENIC’s focus being more the business side means the fans become a bit of an afterthought, so Levy becomes the scapegoat, when essentially he’s following orders.

What is interesting is that if the football team is more successful then the business makes more money so why has it got to the point where he fans and THST have had to protest and ask for the boards resignation for the club as a whole to remember that the fans matter and that we are first and foremost a football club so success on the pitch and football side is n.o1. Obviously the stadium and revenue from that would subsequently help the football side.

I agree with you I’ve never really doubted Levy‘s motives it’s just that I think he could’ve handled the football side of the club better and if he had I think we’d have won a few trophies and would have more consistency in terms of our plan which would produce more consistent results.

Overall since ENIC took over we’ve significantly improved our average league position and we’ve dramatically improved our off the field infrastructure, stadium , training ground etc. It’s just so frustrating that the football side of the business has been so up and down and also that the fans are seen as an afterthought as if not Levy would go down as one of the best chairman of all time and be lauded similarly to Leicester’s.

A lot of trust has been broken due to ESL & Jose gamble that didn’t pay off, if he can get this next manager right and the squad re-build ideally with Kane then things can still be positive.

HUGE HUGE few months for the club.

Dunno about staying true to our DNA being a good thing. We need a DNA transplant if anything.

Starting with whatever sequence of genetic code is required to grow a functioning backbone amongst our playing staff

people can tell sincerity by his actions over many years

and are sceptical of a match day programme for a game with the highest priced tickets in the country..... talking about how the club has lost sight of its DNA! (Let alone the dross that was actually served up)

Hopefully he doesn't mean the old DNA of selling our best players when the money comes calling and replacing them with shite.
