He was MOM when he played in the league a couple of weeks ago. One bad performance from a player lacking match fitness is not going to convince me that Davies should be starting ahead of him.

Though on a serious note, he was outstanding against Everton. Just had a shitter tonight that's all. 2 terrible mistakes that should've been punished, but on form over the past year right up to now, I'd pick him over Davies every time. And I quite like Davies.

mistakes by defenders cost goals. If he plays like tonight then he will cost us. He has two training sessions to show that his brain is at full speed, or he should stay on the bench Sunday.
having said that, palace have pace, it could be wise to pick him. Glad I don't have the job of choosing.

I think he definitely improved in the second half, got forward at times - and troubled defenders right in the box. You can't discount the fact he's been out for a bit and is lacking match fitness. Davies has held firm so I'd probably go with Davies this Sunday (still think Rose needs some more game time), but I like the sharp, piercing attacking movement of Rose offers.

He had two terrible mistakes tonight but apart from that he was his usual self. Davies is playing fine so it's good we have a competent backup and/or competition but you are living in an alternate reality if you think Ben should be starting over Danny when both are 100%.

Rose was poor tonight but it was mainly a concentration thing. He is better against better opposition. Palace are a counterattacking side with lots of pace so we need Rose's pace and attacking threat to counter that and stop their wingers charging forward at will.

exactly what i was going to say, the way fans r moaning about u think he had started playing for the Azerbaijani side. his concentration was just put off as he has been killing it in the prem and without a doubt still the first choice left back

I am not sure about that. Davies is steady, unspectacular. Rose does things with more flair, but is he better? He is certainly more "Tottenham"
