Doesn't he owe us this season after sitting out the last one?

If he plays silly buggers I'd ship him off to fucking China and put in a buy back clause so he can't go anywhere else.

Will need to wait to see the full article but based on the Sun 'preview' not sure what is wrong with his comments;

-Not saying he wants to leave
-Calling on board to buy players
-Wants to win trophies

Sounds fair to me, not sure why we would be reeling!

When Poch was asked I think today about the Danny Rose rumours...his response was very guarded..he said something along the lines of 'we will see what happens, when we get an offer'...

Don't really blame him, he deserves to fight for trophies. He should still wait until the end of the window but it's looking really bad and even if we get good players they will need proper preseason to get used to triple training sessions and Pochettino's system.
I'll fucking blame him, he's been at the club for almost a decade so knows exactly how the club operates and it was absolutely fine by him when he signed on for over 5 years last Autumn.

fwiw I don't think it is him, but if it is then fuck him as it won't have anything to do with signings or winnings things, it'll just be about him getting more money elsewhere.

If people actually listened to what he said when he was invited onto the 5 Live Show with Jenas at the end of the season, without the Spurs tinted specs, it was quite literally a warning to the board to show some ambition in the market.
Of course it was a warning - just because he gave a warning doesnt mean what he is doing is acceptable especially after going back on previous interview as well as having a lot to owe to Pochettino.

As part of a team that cost very little and yet ended up 3rd and 2nd over past two season, I'd have thought he'd might understand that bringing in flashy new players doesnt guarantee success.

Just seems like another player getting all 'Billy big Bollocks' because of having a couple of good seasons and that is something that I dont like whether its Spurs or non Spurs related.

Technically he cost us 1M from leeds, he signed a need contract last season, just let him rot if it is him. However as i said technically he cost us 1M the club is all about valuation and vaulation of assets, currently as an asset he is worth lets say 50M (taking walker fee as the base value) the way the club would see it would be like this and not the 1M.

If this is indeed Rose, are we certain that he isn't doing it with Pochs blessing? To put pressure on Levy. They are close, and itk earlier said Poch is frustrated as well.

I'm sure people will begin slagging him off and saying we'll be fine, he's replaceable. There's more important players in team than him, we can afford to lose him, Davies will do a job.

Losing our first choice full backs from last two seasons is an absolute disaster.

It would be interesting to see the unedited interview including questions (if it is Danny). I have a feeling of how it would go and he's probably answering honestly, but we're not going to see that, it'll be chopped up and seemingly be Danny that's driving the interview

Players have all the power these days, they go where they want.

I'm not really sure why people are surprised by this TBH. We needed to do 2 things this summer. 1. Bump up wages where applicable 2. Show some ambition in the transfer market.

We have done neither, but hey, that £75m looks good in our bank account.

Before this there was a debate to be had about our policy this summer. Yes we need more depth but we do have a great starting XI and options from bench (when players are fit). Rose going public like this means the debate is over. We have a serious problem, that could spread throughout the squad. Yes as fans we are annoyed by the supposed lack of ambition but, far more importantly, it's sent totally the wrong message to the squad, at a time when we really should be kicking on. Worrying times

Its like a domino effect, 1 at a time, we sell rose too then who is next? Depressing and downright embarrassing and this near to the start of the season. Angry is an understatement.

Course it's Rose.
He talks about not having won medals and the other possible candidates all have.
Unfortunately it was always going to be very hard to keep this team together with our wage policy and near misses last year.

Could just as easily be Sanchez or Coutinho, my money would be on Sanchez

5 years on his contract also mean that club can sell him for more money, it's not just about him feeling happy. Also I don't remember this club ever going so long without a signing in summer.

Reading the article again it does say "superstar" & maybe it could be Sanchez or Coutinho.
