What's the point of finishing above your rivals if they keep trying to poach your players. It's ridiculous. It's all about money. No matter how good your team is, it comes down to whoever pays more. And we just don't pay more.

A BIG-NAME star at a top-six club has opened his heart to The Sun in the most explosive interview of the transfer window.

The international ace is set to cause a storm just days before the start of the Premier League season.

For everyone saying they were fine with us not buying players, this is what happens.

He sent out a warning in a BBC interview back in May, where he said players like him want to see the club buy because it shows ambition.

And still we've not made one sodding signing. Of course this is his reaction. I'm surprised more of them aren't doing it.

In a way, I fully agree with him, most of us fans are just as frustrated with our lack of business so far.

You'd hope our key players wouldn't be as wrapped up in transfer hysteria as the rest of us however, considering how they outperformed a load of these money teams over the last couple of seasons in the league.

Money plays a part too, especially for the older lads like Rose.

Apparently Rose has gone public on wanting out, interview will be all over the papers tomorrow. From a mate who works at the Guardian.

Complaining about our transfer strategy apparently.

The article I just read from the Sun basically has the players as being "anonymous" from a top 6 club, but my thought this was someone asking Rose if you got an offer would you consider leaving Spurs? The player in question said yes he would, because he wanted to win medals & didn't believe the transfer policy of the club he was at would allow him to do that. He also said the squad of one club in particular was exceptional & I got the feeling he was talking about MCity.

I got the feeling from what Poch said this morning he didn't want Rose to go, but if they got an exceptional bid they might consider it. Personally, I think letting him go would send out completely the wrong message, because after Walker, selling Rose would make us look like a selling club again, no matter how good the fee was & the likes of Dier & possibly Dele would think it's time to go.

Comes back to strengthening the squad though, to convince these guys we are a club moving forward & trophies are possible here,
