If they are willing to offer us shaw and martial for rose then I'd take that.

That.... Is a bloody good idea! Shaw strikes me as the kind of player who could improve greatly with the right coaching - as opposed to the put-downs he got from Maureen. What did they pay for him? £10m? Martial was £36m so the pair would come close to a KW-level valuation of DR.

Apologies if already posted. An interesting take on the hypocracy of the modern footballer.

Makes some points on how well we did post his injury and the comments he made at the time of signing the new contract.
Thanks for that Jody. Key quote is:
“Everyone knows that the club is going in the right direction and I’m over the moon that I’ll stay here until I’m an old man”Danny Rose , signing a new five-year Tottenham contract on September[\quote]

Yeah Danny. Until you're an old man. Or a c**t.

Man U paid £27m for Shaw and £37m rising to£54m for Martial. Shaw has gone backwards under Mourinho and has only played 30 odd games in 3 years and has been criticised for being overweight. Martial has stalled since having a good start. Don't think i would take Shaw because he is injury prone but think Poch could get the best out of Martial again.

I was talking to a friend of mine who is a United supporter today.

He was needling me about Rose and how we should sell to Yanited. I told him we should ask for £50m + Shaw.

In response he said "i'd drive Shaw and the cheque to you personally. We are United, we can always get more money but we need a LB."

I don't think we can sell him now, as someone said it sets a bad precedent, want to move go to the papers, at least Walker didn't do that (did he?). He needs to settle this with the players and management, get his head down, get fit and try to regain the trust of the club and fans.

I'd take Shaw and cash, but we would need to tell all the Greggs and takeaways in the area that Luke's money is no good there...

Top stuff Phil!

Hope you don't mind, I have passed this on to my friend Donna, who just happens to be Commercial Director at THFC, with the suggestion she passes it on to Poch :)

I'll let you know if I get a reply....
Good to see you posting again BOF. Always liked the cut of your jib.

Surely not... I can't believe Kane would stand for it... But the Sun who ran the initial interview are not going to say otherwise are they...

LOL... "Rose is set to contest the size of the fine", I thought the point he was making was that 2 weeks wages of £130,000 was not much to him...
