Pearce is a tosser and he demonstrated that by the number of goals we scored in the 2nd half, while Rose sat on the subs bench wondering what he has to do!

Rose will start come the start of the tournament. Pierce loves rose even picked him as a 19 year old when he was looking like he would really struggle to make the grade. This was a not important match.

Goal was OK but what I thought was excellent was his timing, control, run and skills to get a shot at goal.

If he keeps this up, he'll be the next Bale.

Looking at how Assou Ekotto has come on, if he can continue his progress he should hopefully be our left back for many years to come. He should only be getting better at his age.

Papers linking him with loan to pompey so be interesting to see if that's true because if it is we must be signing a new lb to fight with bae for starting spot

He needs games, but I'm not sure he has the mentality (for good or for bad) for loan spells. I think he works and shows more when playing for us, when trying to impress and get into the team, rather than being the Prem player arriving at a Championship team and assuming/expecting to be in the team each week.

What with Bale being a touch injury prone, and BAE going off to the African Nations, I would have thought we'd keep Rose

Can't see him being shipped back to a Championship club. He'll be in and around the matchday squad.

Good, we can't loan him out at this point of his career.
Will just push him in the same direction as O'Hara.
There'll be games for him in UEFA European League

Glad to hear that, it would be truly bizzare if we sent him out on loan again when he has showed that he's good enough to be reserve LB for us next season, get plenty of game time and will probably play a lot in the Europa League.

Hypothetically, even if a loan deal was on the cards, to a Championship side would make no sense whatsoever, it would have to be a prem side or neither Rose nor Spurs would benefit much at all.
