wasnt sure where to post this, seems we have darren eales replacement - small piece in the daily mail

Spurs appoint Rebecca Caplehorn as director of football administration
Spurs, who already have an influential female board presence in combative executive director Donna Cullen, have chosen QPR finance chief Rebecca Caplehorn to replace MLS-bound Darren Eales as director of football administration.

Shocked they have a finance chief, I thought they just throw money at everything and say fix it

At what point will she learn that she is working with a tighter budget than she had in the championship

It's actually quite impressive that 2 of the biggest leaders at the club will be women now, given how male-dominated football, and sports in general, are. Gives us yet another thing to be proud about as Spurs supporters.

Yep. Very pleasing, although...

...'QPR finance manager' is a bit like being 'Titanic safety officer'. :cautious:

If it works.

Let's not forget Karen Brady giving ladies in football a bad name.

Hmmm...clearly a second choice, Southampton obviously had enough though.

It's really infuriating that there's still so few women involved at the top that they can't just be judged on their own merits - every single female figure seems to be held up an example to applaud or slate a whole gender.

ETA: That's not me attacking you by the way, just a general observation.

My point was exactly that, that if it goes wrong somehow, she'll end up getting the flack.
