Yes, we're back in for him! Well, TribalFootball says we are, anyway.

Tottenham are reviving their interest in Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta. Spurs made a move for Iaquinta last year while he was still with Udinese and are set to try again for the World Cup winner in the summer.
Iaquinta has admitted frustration at the lack of first team action he's seen this season and is ready to ask away.

This must be the 4th or 6th window Spurs are linked to this player... No grazi.

In all seriousness, from what I've seen of Dave, surely he would fit into the one of Ramos' traditional striking categories. He's a target man with a bit of pace, right? Would he not be a straight replacement for the Berbanator?

What a strike force we will have next season: Iaquinta/Eto'o/Villa/Keane/Fabiano, somethings not right here????? Oh yes, Ardiles left in the 90's, no 1-4-5 formation.

Um yes, in the same way Anton Ferdinand would be a straight replacement for Ledders. Eek

I remember us creaming our selves at the thought of this guy signing.......what has he really done since then??

Would he really be that much of a downgrade? :)

Yes although when I watched Juve earlier in the season up at the Friuli he scored 6 seconds after coming on as a sub. Did nothing else though. The difference in technical ability is big and he has certainly nothing like Berba's creativity.

Oh I dunno, he got a world cup winners medal and a fat contract with Juve. Not a lot really.

Oh, I know he's not the creative type. I always saw him as more of a Mido than a Berba.

I miss Mido :-(

So what ure saying is that cause he has a fat contract, he has doone well...actually i cant even remember if he played any games during the WC.....kinda like Walcott???

Would be more interesting with some stats..has he even played games this year?..has he scored?......im not much into italian football cause i think it stinks of corruption, lies and cheap free kicks...:)

It was a bit of a tongue in cheek comment, but I doubt he is too upset with all the money he is being paid and that medal.

Had to look it up because I had no idea, but he played 5 of Italy's 7 games including a goal against Ghana in the WC and he has scored 8 in 23 this season for Juve.

He still isn't very good though.
