You're all missing one thing! Why would Becks want to train Lennon when they're BOTH still fighting for the England RW spot!

Becks is probably happy that Lennon can't cross!!! :(

Spurs lack leadership in midfield and have some of the poorest crossing and setpiece stats.

Beckham has leadership and excells at crossing and setpieces.

On loan so no major transfer fee. In return Spurs lend out one or two in need of training and games to Galaxy next summer.

Beckham gets fit for England and helps some England "hopefuls" become England "certains".

Beckham on a Spurs shirt selling millions.

Things that make you go Hmmmmmmmmh?

Nice in theory, but Galaxy wouldn't want him playing Premier League footy and probably getting crocked in their off season. Who knows if Ramos would want him anyway.

just to have him training would help the younger players in the squad, i'm sure they could learn a lot just by watching him!! I think its a really good move by watford to get him down there...

Awful idea on so many levels.

-Media circus would worsen. Haven't we had enough of being all over the press?

-Would make our counter attacking play even slower than it already is.

-Wages?!?! Would smash the structure and possibly double the wage bill as all the other big cahoonas demand increases.

- Probably the most overrated set piece taker since John Barnes. About 4 assists and 2 free kick goals for England since "that wonderful strike against Greece".

- He no longer has the stamina that he had in 2001. He can raise it for the odd match against decent (but not brilliant) opposition. He would wilt in the Premiership.

- Posh Spice at the Lane.

- Scoring goals has been the least of our problems for the last 15 months.

Ferguson sold him when he was past his peak (pretty much every Manure fan I know believes this. And they don't feel the same way about, say Jaap Stam) - and he's been on the wane ever since.

Fair enough he had a good spell last year but I believe that was his last hurrah. He gave it is all in his final season for Real and he was trying to prove his boss wrong.

I know many people think he was the reason Real won the League last year, but that is very very simplistic (and wrong IMO). I was in Spain for the last year and went to a few Real games, watched the rest on T.V. He played his part, sure. But I strongly believe he is not what we need. Plus he's been dogshit since he went to America.
