I find the drink drive limit a bit strange, who can go out for just a pint????

Well for me its quite simple: If I drink I wont drive and if i'm driving I don't drink at all. There are some people that say its ok to have a shandy and drive, well no its not because you can never tell how you going to react even with the slightest bit of alcohol.

Its just not worth it

just been reading on page 8, and dont know if anyone else has brought this up so far, but why is everyone assuming that Bentley is 'going through a hard time'?

Well Gerrard got away with punching the snot out of someone on camera in club full of witnesses, so a jury of 'pool fans found him not guilty.

A load of Man U players got away with worse (allegedly) at their Christmas party.

So anything could happen unless we see top four bias (i'm a cynic)

Bentley obviously has troubles unless he's still celebrating being a dad.

I reckon he needs to see someone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8BWBn26bX0

Pat Jennings and Ossie Ardiles (and one of the Martins, not sure if Peters or Chivers) live nearby too, in Broxbourne

I understand he lives in Bishops Stortford, he was a Cheshunt boy, in Northaw where he had the crash he was a couple of miles from Levy's and Defoe's houses.

You could be right, but I don't think he does live in Stortford, I live round there and the only Premiership player I know of living in Stortford is Dean Ashton. Somewhat surprisingly with his wife which seems to contradict his rumoured preferences.

I thought Bentley lived in Docklands, no?

I imagine the mistresses are just for sex, and there's no emotional involvement.

*sigh* Bentley, why are you so stupid and irresponsible :(

I'm not saying I haven't done similarly stupid things before, or know people who have gotten away with drunk driving, but that doesn't make Bentley's actions any less stupid and potentially lethal. FFS why not a taxi?! I hope this is a major wake-up call for him....

 Bentley heading for rock bottom -- can anyone recoup the money on him now?... I doubt it. And, we all know Harry loves to see his players drinking -- should guarantee him first team footie Saturday...

When Ledders got arrested he played the next game if i remember right.

Since Harry does not rate Bentley (just going from starts) I have a feeling Harry will actually punish him properly and pretend he is a disciplinarian.

A 90 grand car...didn't want to leave it. Must be helluva lot of blokes made the same decision, knowing they were definitely over the limit, not massively, but thinking it was a short drive home on quiet roads. The key is not crashing your car into an inanimate object.

Maybe London offers too many temptations for Bentley

He may never settle down here

At least he had an excuse. Ronaldo totalled his Ferrari stone cold sober.

Can we sack him and sue him for our money back?
For wasting his talent and destroying our investment on purpose - a bit like the Mutu case?
It might be the best option for us.
Any legal whizz kids out there that would know?
